Well, unfortunately for me, the cost of having cable out at school is too prohibitive for me to be able to watch the second season of Big O. This is distressing. :( However...
Bandai seems to be pretty hush-hush (I've seen maybe one mention about it back in June on Animenation's News Page) about the fact that they are re-releasing the first season in a DVD boxset at a reduced price. About $45 bucks in fact. :D That's about 1/2 the price it's currently going for now.
I've pre-ordered mine at Borders and I believe various other large retailers are getting it in as well.
And there shall be much rejoicing.
Or at least it'll be something to tide me over until Season 2 comes out. Appreciate everybody's comments in the threads.

Yeah I pre-ordered the first season box set at Borders too. I've liked the second season so far and from what I hear the first was similar so I just had to get it. I Can't wait. Roger Smith and Co. for a decent price! :D

My 50th Post!! yay :D

I payed 25 bucks a volume when they were being first released (ah, 2001), and it was worth that easily. The boxset is an absolute steal, and anyone with an interest in the show, but that doesn't have the dvds, should probably get the box.

I'm planning on picking it up, I just need to get rid of Vol. 1 on eBay.

What extras are included on the dvd's I dont have them, but I want to line up this boxset as a present...so I want to have all the details before I ask for it. Any extras in the boxset, swag and such?

I might consider getting it if CN dosen't replay the old Big O episodes anytime soon. Otherwise, probably not.
