Hey, think they could show that T-Mobile Sidekick commercial about 60 more times in the next half hour or so? I don't think it's been pounded into my brain hard enough yet.

Yes, I am getting tired of that T-Mobile ad. I'm not interested in any of that cell phone stuff right now.

I was just watching Birdman, and I was wondering if anyone knew of who that hippo in tonight's episode was. He looked real familiar, and I know that it is obviously a Hanna-Barbera character, since I don't think the people behind this show can go outside that range of characters to use.

You know, I just noticed this, but is that Hawkgirl on the cover of Birdman's "Birdhouse" magazine? :D

Best.

SGC2C.

EVER.

Well, if you don't include Boo Boo Kitty, which is comical genius.

Tonight Space Ghost is one of my fave episode because Red Green is on this episode. And The Red Green show Rules. Space Ghost Vs. the Dog puppet thing always crack me up. When I watch this episode.

The Space Ghost today was actually not edited that much. In fact, they only cut about two lines, each ironically Space Ghost in a small speech about what's going to happen next. At least they're consistent.

I had never seen that SGC2C before, but I'm glad I did. It was very funny and the ending was epic!

And that Box of Style commercial is wretched. It should be buried in the pit with Yaffa and Juicy Fruit.

COME ON YOU OLD LADY!!!

And that was probably Birdgirl on the cover rather than Hawkgirl.

Personally, the commercial that is getting on my nerves is that AOL Broadband "Leave It to Beaver" ad, which is playing almost once every commercial break.

Tonight's SG:C2C made me die of laughing. Literally. I'm writing this from hell.

And every time that commercial comes on, I hope and pray with all my might that Johnny Chase gets castrated by the falling fan-blade that time around. So far, it hasn't worked.

The acronyms are back!

"HB:AAL"

More fun, though the first part was better. But I won't forget "6 months later"...

A B for Deadomutt: Part 2.

I missed Sealab again, this time due to my overwhelmingly short attencion span.

"SGC2C"

The first half of this episode was downright horrid, but the second half was just SO FUNNY... Prison, "The Beatles" and the ending with the little ball, the action figure and the puppet... I was in tears.

I'm going with an A- for this episode.

"HM"

While I just don't like Home Movies like I did before, this episode was still decent. And you can't forget about the improv game and "No Skin Off My Ass". That was unexpected and hillarious.

I'm giving "Improving Your Life Through Improv" a B.

She's going the distance, and so am I in the Adult Swim Sunday recap:

1. Space Ghost.
2. Aqua Teens.
3. Home Movies.
4. Big O 2.
5. Birdman.
?. Sealab.

I don't care much for Family Guy, but as a former Harold Hill, I fully support the Music Man scene in Tuesday's episode.

Heck, that Hypnotoad can beat that Big Brain to the pulp, even beat that Big Brain to the pulp in the ratings, after watching Tuesday's Futurama!!! :p

Heres a random thought.
The C&C Anything Else threads are the only place I feel safe.
It just feels like the mods aren't prowling as much around in here.

I'm serious Matt Wilson and company are up there along with human carcases on my greatest fears list.

In that case, Uncut DragonBallZ should air on Adult Swim and everyone should download episodes of ATHF off of KaZaA.

Tuesday's Family Guy was surprisingly good. They can pull out a pretty poignent moment every once and a while.

Does Brian's (Family Guy) regular voice actor do his singing too? That song was great!

Have to agree with you. The sad ending was so unexpected, I nearly cried (but bear in mind Pokemon almost makes me cry. Only Bebop and Grave of the Fireflies made me cry for real though).

You mean Seth McFarlene? (voice of Brian, as well as Stewie and Peter, and the Creator of Family Guy in the first place). Yes he does. I enjoyed that song too. I still wonder why people think FG has weak musical moments (the only songs people seem to like from FG are this one and "This House Is Freakin Sweet" from "Peter Peter, Caviar Eater").

Actually, I thought it was pretty sick. Dogs having sex with humans is sick enough, but dogs having sex with old hags is even sicker.

Actually, the best FG song is the Chumbawumba's song about Joe and his wheelchair.

I agree. I hadn't seen it until this rotation, either.

Well, considering it's a giant parody show, why pull it's punches, especially when intended for adults? Yeah, the old hag wasn't attractive, but Brian's living a lifetime with her via virtial reality was sweet. I guess I'm old fashioned in believing love transends physical appearence. Guess that's why I like .hack//sign.

Although two hot teenage girls are more palatable than a talking dog and an old lady.

There were three episodes centered around Brian's love life that I can think of (two humans, one dog), four if you count the one where he was directing porn films, and numerous one-off comments. I'm pretty sure half the fun of doing those seeing how far the could get before the censors and/or public cried foul...

Besides, even if he is an alcoholic dog, Brian is still a better catch than the series' other single guy, Quagmire.

The commercials I'm getting sick of seeing during Adult Swim:

AOL - The "leaves you open to everything" commercial... God, Iv'e seen it a million times...

The Box of Style - Just plain annoying...

Hi-C - Or whatever, it's about a tounge at a party and the kid is annoying and says "wow" and "woah!"

Ability First - I don't think you guys get this commercial, but a foundation called Ability First is trying to get us to buy videos of Rikki Tikki Tavi and A Cricket in Times Square and it always interups Adult Swim news. "Who could forget Rikki Tikki Tavi or A Cricket in Times Square?" I CAN'T CAUSE YOU KEEP REMINDING ME!!!

No, I saw it too. And as someone said before, "I like how the it was replaced with Meatwad because I don't care to see sir-chokes-a-lot's coughed up lunch." Priceless.
