Okay, so we haven't had much evidence or support(unless you count Jimmy's constant ramblings about Witch Hunter Robin coming to AS) but now maybe we do. Well,Jerry Chu, during his official chat tonight on irc, confirmed a few things and also stated some things that may lead to s-cry-ed and Witch Hunter Robin possibly coming to adult swim. I'm not saying they will come to adult swim, but here's what he said:
(First part is about Zeta gundam)
<@Jekichu> First question: <Zechs875> Has CN bought the rights to Gundam Z or Zeta Gundam as of yet and if so do you know when they plan on airing it?
<@Jekichu> No Cartoon Network will not be broadcasting Zeta
<@Jekichu> can this change...absolutely
<@Jekichu> but right now...no
<@Jekichu> 1.) Could s-cry-ed ever show up on tv?
<@Jekichu> s-cry-ed on tv?
<@Jekichu> sure why not
<@Jekichu> as a matter of fact its being worked on
<@Jekichu> both s-cry-ed and witch hunter robin
<@Jekichu> fyi
*this next part i added in because i found it amusing*
<@Jekichu> <Immelmann> Also, ^^ How much does a broadcast license usually cost?
<@Jekichu> costs a lot
<@Jekichu> LOT
<@Jekichu> but not that much
<@Jekichu> it costs them quite a bit (CN) to edit fyi
So basically, with s-cry-ed and witch hunter robin being worked on, could this mean Adult Swim is picking these shows up? Thoughts...
*NOTE: I'll be posting the full chat in the anime forum later when its over with, the prize questions are still being asked, gotta see if i can win!*

SCRYED is Toonami territory.
But yes, Halloween seems like an appropriate time for witchcraft.

Ditto.
WHR is great for Adult Swim, but s-CY-r-ed is a very Toonami-ish show.

Hopefully this means both blocks will be getting more new stuff. Woo hoo!
Too bad about Zeta though.

Scryed is defintiely Toonami. Not to say its a bad show cause its not. I like it. But it wouldnt need any censoring for Toonami so it'll go there

It would need censoring/edits, but not a lot.

Scryed (I'm calling it Scryed, not S-cry-ed or s.CRY.ed or some stupid **** like that) is a Toonami show, definitely. I've got the first five episodes, and I only see, for the most part, language edits, and a couple edits for violence. Only a couple though.

All I know is that WHR has awesome music.

I hope this holds true and that the situation with Zeta changes.
Scryed could very well make a good Toonami acquisition. And for those interested, the s-Cry-ed form of the title apparently stems from the word being an amalgam of three Japanese words. What those are, however, I don't know.

This could be very nice news for both blocks, if Scryed ends up on Toonami and WHR ends up on Adult Swim. That would almost make too much sense to not happen, but sense isn't always the prevailing factor in the world of television programming, so I guess we'll see.

I heard my name mentioned!
Before, I thought Scryed would be coming to AS, but now I just think it will be coming to Cartoon Network. I heard it is a lot like X-Men Evolution.
how do you pronounce that?
I've been saying Sacred

Scryed, S-Cry-ed, or s.cry.ed. Not scrayed! It's not that hard to spell, especially since you've messed up the spelling like 12 times.

It's pronounced S-cried, "cried" with an S in front of it.

Replace "s.CRY.ed" with "Wolf's Rain" in that headline and I'll be a happy camper. ;)
Seriously, it's nice that "s.CRY.ed" and "Witch Hunter Robin" are coming to Cartoon Network. I mean, where else can they go? TechTV? These are two of Bandai's biggest recent properties they want to give as much exposure as possible, not some small, second-thought acquisition *coughCrestoftheStarscough* that they want to give to a small niche cable channel.

Wolf's Rain, forgot about that, but someone asked Jerry about it and he said that production on Wolf's Rain hasn't even begun yet. And dvds aren't expected til late summer 2004. Still, i've never seen s-cry-ed before so I didn't know it was for Toonami sorry for getting your hopes up on that. But hopefully Witch Hunter Robin will show up on Adult Swim soon, i've heard good things on it.

WHR, awesome. I'm interested in seeing what that's like...
S-cry-ed? Meh. I could take it or leave it, but yeah. It's total toonami material...
it wasn't really that good IMO. But maybe it's just slow at the beginning, like Soul Taker. But then again, I never watched soul taker again...

Witch Hunter Robin, from the little bit I saw of it was pretty boring. I liked the character designes and music but that's about it. Although I do think it would probably work out for AS. I just wont be watching it.

I have to say I loved it. Real good show that required thought and time. I a little more like bebop, less action and less sci-fi, more on-going story. (Just finished my second run subbed.) More of a character growth thing. I think.
Great music too.
I tend to like this type of story more as of late. I still like the comedy and action stuff (FLCL). But a little more story is good.
I am still waiting for GITS:SAC to come to AS. (My bet is on 6+ moths, if at all.)
I think Scrapped Princes would be good too.
