...Out my way, I just got a flyer from our local TWC outlet about changes coming for our Digital Cable TV services...and we're getting the Boomerang channel! (We're also getting Nick Too and GAS, but that's another forum).
The changes don't take effect 'till September 24.
To those of you fortunate enough to have it, what can I look forward to?

What service do you have? Comcast?
I get Nick Toon TV and Gas, but I don't get Boomerang (boy I wish I did!).

Comcast has no plans to increase the amount of Boomerang subscribers. Much like they have no plans to acquire Tech TV, because they believe "G4 is better".
No joke, they actually said that. They're really THAT DUMB.

Well, starting in September, Boomerang will be adding Mr. Magoo to their lineup. They will also be having Casper and Friends marathons on Fridays all throughout the month. Then, in October, I think their going to re-air Much A-Doo About Scooby, where they air every Scooby-Doo episode ever. Also, they show Top Cat, Jetsons, Help! It's the Hair Bear Bunch, Penelope Pitstop, Popeye, and a whole bunch more.

Wait a second, you mean to tell me that, despite the fact that both Boomerang and Time Warner Cable have the same parent company, your local cable operator didn't pick up Boomerang until now?
I've got TWC, and we don't have Boomerang...though I don't know if my area is affected by this change...we've had GAS and Nick Too for a while, so I guess this won't affect us.
We have both Tech TV and G4, for what it's worth.
I sure would like to get Boomerang...I miss Top Cat.

Where do you live?
I have Time Warner Digital Cable in NYC, and I've had Boomerang and Nick GAS and all that for at least three years.

Upstate New York, the Catskills region. We're a year or so behind you guys, cable-wise, mainly 'cause it's a mostly rural area.

September's "Character of the Month" has been changed to Rocky & Bullwinkle. October will most likely be Casper & Friends.

Hey, Monticello. My grandmother used to own a home in Liberty. She had a HUGE satellite dish in her yard, just so she could get about 25 or so channels.

Just like Peppe, I also live in Sullivan County. However, I've had Boomerang longer (Since I have sattellite :D).

Alright... now I want Boomerang... Cablevision, get your act together and get me it now!
Seriously, though, Mr. Magoo is great. I would get digital cable just for Mr. Magoo (well, not really, but it would be a huge incentive to get it). Does anybody know if they do air or could air Felix the Cat? Or is the licence owned by somebody else?
