I urge anyone and everyone to goto hannabarbera.org, read about the building, and most importantly sign the petition! A link to the petition follows (http://www.ethical-business.com/?sect=detail&pet=596). Don't let progress destroy our memories.
While you have a great cause, I'm sorry to say that online petions NEVER work. Here's why:

Hmm... I'm almost for burning the place down. Someone has to pay for all the horrible dreck they turned out in the 60s, 70s, and 80s.

I believe the animators' guild and other related groups in LA are already working hard on this. Just contact them and support their efforts directly. I'm quite sure they know what they're doing more than just signing petitions.

I consider BABY LOONEY TUNES to be dreck, should we go burn down Warner Brothers Television Animation too?

There are undeniably some classic Hanna Barbera shows, but........there is such an incredible mountain of junk that the hits are far and few between. Just a glance at a 70s Saturday morning TV schedule is enough to strike fear into the heart of a child.
