Stun gun

I was wondering does anyone know what type of stun I can get and where I can get one from. Also if anyone here's a cop is there a limit to the numuber volts/watts a sunt gun can have and be carried legaly. Yeah it's a strang question but I was wating at the bus stop a couple of weeks ago and it seems thos guy was trying to stalk me. He came by three time the last time he talked to and tried to get me to go with him. He also had outta state plates. So that scared me even more I was about to leave when the bus came thatn god. I though about mace but if the wind changes direction it could back fire. I plan to get a real gun in the future just not right now. So I want something I can use so if something worse than the above should happen I'll have something to defend myself with.

I would start with making sure you reduce potential bad situations by carrying a "rape whistle" that way you can call attention to yourself if need be. I'm sure you know the drill about walking in lighted areas, avoiding unfamiliar areas, etc. But, simply getting a stun gun is not necessarily a guarantee that you will be safe, since it can be taken and used against you. Most often practicing safe habits and being aware of your situation is the best way to avoid a confrontation altogether.

It was in the day time which I found odd. Usaully things like this happen at night. I know the drill you speak of and pratice it but because this incdent was in the day time it scared me more so. I take the cab now instead of the bus but I know that when I get my own car I'll have to be even more watchful by the way thanks for the advice.
