Did the dispersing of him and his team result in the less satirical tone of the Bravo cartoons. You know less shots at celebertys and pop culture. The cartoons are still good (IMO not as good though) but I'm just curious on what happened.

And what about all the guest cameo's from famous people like Adam West, where did they go?

--I'm not the only one who thinks this new creative team is not doing Johnny Bravo justice. It seems he's gone from being a good-natured libidinous oaf to just a mean-spirited, rude, pushy, needlessly dense, borderline-stalker horse's a**. Not to mention his whiny Jerry Lewis-esque buddy Carl is an annoying little schmoe. Oddly enough, this is the same team who gave us Pinky and the Brain, but they can't seem to spin gold with this series.
Fav scene of all time on JB...Farrah Fawcett is at a children's birthday party, about to play pin-the-tail-on-the-donkey. As she has a hankie tied around her eyes, she giggles, "This is fun. I can't remember the last time I was blindfolded." Then she pauses. "Oh...wait. Yes, I can." http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/evil/goodnevil.gif Dodgy, dodgy, dodgy.

It's not so much that I think the new ones are not funny (they are pretty good), it's just that they are not true Bravo and up to the old standard you know?
And the show is definately on a one way ticket to redundant cliches.

BTW Yeah good question what happened to Van. We know that some of the writters moved on Hartman is working at Nick on the Fairly Odd parents (BTW Highly recomended IMO) with some of the others over there as wellm and Mcfarlen went on to Family Guy (take it or leave it), but we don't know what happened to my boy Van? Anyone know?

I love all episodes of Johnny Bravo. They all make me laugh. I noticed a complete change in the style though. The only thing that I would like more of are the celebrity appearances. And of course new episodes :)

That's the idea. :) I wonder if the new JB special has anything to do with how well Partible's return for the Christmas special did. Hopefully this is a sign that Partible could be working on future projects for CN, JB-related or otherwise. It's a shame that he only worked on JB for the first season.

I seem to remember hearing that he left over creative differences. Perhaps I am mistaken about that, however, I do remember reading here that he was teaching at an university after he left "Johnny Bravo."

I want new episodes of Johnny Bravo. I don't care who is working on it, as long as it stays funny. It's a shame it got cancelled:(. At least we get the new specials. :)

I seem to remember hearing that he left over creative differences. Do you happen to know what those differences were? I'm curious. :D

I don't think Partible will commit to a season of JB.

I believe Partible is doing the Valentine's special to finish the series on a more complete note. Like, give Johnny an actual significant other, or something to that effect. Make it so that JB couldn't possibly be continued by any other company.

Maybe Partible will be able to get Seth MacFarlane to write it, now that Seth's somewhat out of a job right now.

Nope and I don't know want to start rumors, but I thought I remember hearing that that was why he left. I am not sure. Perhaps, we will never know. :(

By the way, what did Partible do after Johnny Bravo anyway?

Read above. He's teaching at a university.

I think the new episodes are funny, but definitely repetitive. Despite better animation(Or worse, depending on your opinion on digital ink and coloring), Johnny just became a jerk with an even smaller IQ, Susie got a major redesign and an annoyingly high voice(No idea why; the same girl played her, and seeing her in State of Grace her voice hasn't changed.), Carl and Pops came, and the plots were basically Johnny doing something with a girl every episode, with rare exceptions(i.e. When he raised the T-Rex he thought was a hamster.). Ah well.

Remember the DBZ/Pokémon parody?

I love Johnny Bravo as A whole. The post Van episodes are still pretty funny. They may not be as laugh out loud funny as the Van episodes, but I still enjoy them. I don't find Carl as annoying as some of you think.

:wakko: I think the post partible episodes are just as funny if not funnier than the partible ones. :yakko:

To me it seems the post Partibles ones are no where near the true format Bravo was meant to be. Sure the same thing is in it...the constant pickng up chicks gag, but the partible ones were focused more on Bravo himself and not Carl or Pops or magical journey's and stuff like that.
Plus anyone noticed that the partible episodes had more induendos in them (god I hoped I spelled that right). Examples:
Island of Beautiful Women/Men
First episode: "What are yah gonna do? Frisk me?"
I don't bite, Does she?
I have tons more! I think That's the way partible wanted them. They just dont have it after he left. It's more like other cartoons now and not it's own style, for example The Eds. They NEVER cross into the realm of fantasy and do things like Dexter and PPG and other cartoons do all the time. That's what makes them (In my opinion) one if the best cartoons made today.
Back to Bravo. It used to be like that. Now that Carl and Pops and all those new things have been added, just not the same.
Ahh. To see another parody of Scooby Doo or School House rock for picking up chicks. Or having Donnie Osmond coming on and them making fun of him, or Vendala!
