The car, man, the car! It's always been the car! The only other ones I ever used as back-ups were the cowboy and the wheelbarrow - to carry my oodles of cash, of course!

I always use the thimble. I have no idea why, I just like it a lot, though the hat is pretty cool too:p

I'm always the little Scottie dog. If I'm not guaranteed him then I don't play and since even if I do have him I'm not guaranteed to win but if I lose I'm guaranteed to sulk *pauses for breath* then you'll understand why I don't play Monopoly very often.

The Scottish Terrier! I guess it's because dogs are my favorite kind of animal. I guess you can say I'm a sucker for dogs. lol :D

I just love that scottie dog! Even though I never won a single game of Monopoly, I guess I'd pick whichever piece wins.
I'd like a Mr. Monopoly game piece. I always wanted to play as that guy ;)

The car all the way, because just when you think you are about to “pass go” and collect 200 sweet big one’s but instead come up short and hit Park Ave with a friggin hotel on it, you need to be able to make that quick get-away, and hide somewhere on Baltic Ave with the rest of the losers and assorted crackheads.

either the car or the iron. car because it's the most popular and i like to pick it to piss ebveryone else off or the iron because you can cut people with it.
bassically peices don't matter.

I like the car the best. It's pretty stylin', and it can go from 0-100 in 9 seconds. :)

This poll is horrendously slapped together. Your list of Monopoly tokens includes some ridiculous choices (cowboy, Paul Revere? what?), and it's missing a bunch of things. You see, in 1937, Monopoly was supplied with 10 tokens:

1. Iron
2. Car
3. Thimble
4. Shoe
5. Top Hat
6. Battleship
7. Cannon
8. Purse **
9. Lantern **
10. Rocking Horse **

I astercized those last three because in the 1950's, they were replaced by the following three new tokens:

11. Dog
12. Wheelbarrow
13. Horse & Rider

In 1999, Hasbro introduced a new token, selected from a ballot of three candidates in a national poll.

14. Sack of Money (beating out the Bi-Plane and Piggy Bank)

Also, I don't know where this lands in the history of the Monopoly tokens, but at some point, they have used this one:

15. Train

I think that's all of them, not counting whatever specialty tokens were manufactured for special editions of the board game (Star Wars, Simpsons, etc.) If you're interested in their respective popularity, here are the results of a 1998 popularity poll conducted by Hasbro (which doesn't include the three discontinued tokens, the then-nonexistent sack of money, and the possibly alternate universe-exclusive train):

Car, 18%
Dog, 16%
Cannon, 14%
Top Hat, 10%
Battleship, 9%
Horse & Rider, 8%
Shoe, 8%
Thimble, 7%
Iron, 7%
Wheelbarrow, 3%

I personally like the horse.
