Ok, since we've done a most hated commercials thread, I felt it was only appropriate that we do a thread concerning your FAVORITE commercials on the air right now.
I've got two for ya:
That Right Guard deodorant commercial with Randy Johnson and those poor dodgeball-loving suckers (You DO NOT wanna be odor right now!) :)
And that new Arby's oven mitt ad that spawned my current sig.
Your thoughts?
Honda's "Cog"
Heineken's "The Real Reason They Walked into a Bar"
Snickers' "Grumpiness" ("Does anyone know when the water show is? Someone should put up a sign that says when the water show is!")
Anything with the Geico Gecko

"the name is doo-MAHss" :D
Adult Swim's FLCL promo
Cartoon Network's "Booboo Baba DeeDee"
the Supermario brothers 3 ad where it was a bunch of people in groups of colored clothes yelling Mario over and over again, the camera panned out and all the unified kids made the face of Mario on the surface of Earth.
there are more, but I have work to do

This is loose, but...
The commercial for Sunny Delight, *I think*, from a few years back.
A mom and her two kids are about to enjoy some OJ, when all of a sudden the cartoon logo comes to life and jumps off of the bottle.
...the mother and her kids shriek in horror and and run away, in the process the mother falls down and the kids plead for her to keep up, but she only tells them to keep going...as the cartoon bounds gleefully towrds her. Maybe that was a sprite ad? I dont know I was in college then so many things are a blur.
Better, tighter, and more coherent commercials to come!

Is it possible to love commercials? ;)
The best one I've seen in a while was "Brad and Alex", an ad for some "premium malt beverage" (can't remember which one). A girl's sitting at the bar, waiting for somebody. A guy sits down next to her, the girl introduces herself as Alex and asks if he's Brad. The guy says no, and the girl explains, "Blind date.". Just then, a big hot red car pulls up, with a vanity license plate "THE BRAD" or something, and the driver swaggers into the bar. The girl sighs and tries to make herself scarce. The guy next to her gets up, walks over to the other guy and asks if he's Brad. "Oh yeah." First guy smiles and says, "I'm Alex."
LMAO!! That was freakin' hilarious!!
The Snickers Grumpiness commercial is high on my list too.

I loved the "BooBoo BaaBaa DeeDee" interstitial that came on CN! I used it to get my older brother out the room when I didn't want to be bothered :anime: Shame it doesn't come on anymore.
*Taco Bell dog was cool, even though a lot of people thought he was annoying. For those who don't know, the Taco Bell dog was voiced by the same guy who did Rocko.
*Sierra Mist commericals, especially the ones with the monkeys.
*The commerical with a kid downloading a picture, but can't wait for it to finish, seeing as he has to go to school. When he gets home, the picutre has downloaded 68%, then goes down to 67. He throws the computer out the window.

- The Legend of Zelda rap commercial for the orginal NES game.
- The orginal Mario Bros. commercial (not Super Mario Bros.).
- The Super Smash Bros. commercial
- The banned Xbox commercial where the baby is ejected out a window and ages in the air until landing in a grave.

Is it possible to love commercials? ;)
Hmm no. :p
No seriously I guess the Snickers one with Barky the dog is funny. Oh and the one where the guy is yelling help and then a kid runs into his house and he says, "Oh could you pass me the remote?". I guess the Snickers commercials are all are any good.

Isn't the choice kinda obvious?
My favorite, by far, is John Stamos' 10-10-987 commercials. John Stamos is the man, was the man, is the man.
Second favorite is the old, now no longer run, Pepsi Blue commercials.

CITI credit card commercial
Basically, you see a guy working out on his treadmill. Suddenly, the treadmill decides to stop. When the guy kneels down to see what's wrong, the treadmill starts up again and slams his head into the control panel. Then, to add insult to injury, the tread backs up and moves forward again, smashing his groin against the post before sending him flying into the shelf behind him.
When I saw this commerical, I completely cracked up.
www.stupidvideos.com is a great source for other commercials such as these. They have the treadmill one and the banned Xbox one that was mentioned above.

X-box...
(watches video)
Why was it banned?
Back on topic...
I forgot the name of the hotel (Best Western?) but it has the most coolest background music.
The new Jaquar also has cool background music.
Another one from the top of my head is the (Subaru?) ad where this dud swings out into the lake, freezes in fear in midair, swings back and hits the SUV with a THUD! :p

- the Allstate ads (esp. the current one with the tortoise and the hare)
- the Geico ads (really, just the ones with the Gecko)
- the Taco Bell ads with the chihuahua
- the "Family Guy" ad that is basically the fight scene from "Lethal Weapons" with a remix of the theme song playing
- the clip show "Futurama" ad
- there was an ad for chocolate milk that I thought was so stupid the first time I saw it, but at the end, it was hilarious (the ad had a package being smashed, shaken and slammed, and when it's delivered, it turns out to be a bottle of chocolate milk packed in ice)
Tienshin: I remember that ad. It was for Sprite. It was funny.

If you go to X-Entertainment's website (x-entertainment.com), you can see lots of cool 1980s ads. I especially liked the Atari, Coleco Tabletop Games, Kool-Aid and Oreo ads on that page.
Other favorites:
Defensive Drills Video commercial that they show on ESPN. It's been on the air for at least a decade, it is so funny because all the kids are doing things in unison and Fred McGriff is endorsing it!
These two Tootsie Roll ads. One was where all of these kids are dancing and everything becomes a Tootsie Roll, and one for Tootsie Pops where the kid asks Mr. Turtle and Mr. Owl about how many licks it takes to get to the center of the pop.
Various Sportscenter ads. My all-time favorite is where they do the show in different languages, but I also liked the Y2K test, the 20-year-old anchor phenom, the table tennis/NBA lottery game, the Tiger Woods gallery, and the live studio audience ads.
Bud Light with Cedric the Entertainer. I really like the Bud Light ads, but Cedric is the best on them.
Miller Lite with "Dick." The old "advertising director" was corny, but in a very clever way.
Super Nintendo. The one with the people walking over slowly to watch the guy play it on a big screen was cool.
Illinois Lottery Highway Chase. I remember back when I lived in Chicago in the mid-1990s that there was a commercial where a large lottery ball is rolling on the highway. I liked that "big jackpot situation," but the ads was pulled.
Those Cartoon Network ads where the actors reenact the station's shows. Like the man who was born and raised in Townsville, I liked that one.
Molson Canadian's trip to the beer store. I saw this ad a few times earlier this year when watching hockey games on Direct TV's hockey program, obviously on the Canadian broadcasts. These men are walking to a beer store with organ music in the background, and these people all stop to see them.

-The Snickers commercial with a line to heaven. There's an old guy in front of the line who is cringing at his list of sins. Then a guy shouts "does this line EVER move?" and then...the clouds open up and he falls from heaven. :anime:
-I don't remember what it is for (I believe it is for cameras)...but there's the commercial that airs around Christmas that I find hilarious. Santa is reading a kid's list and is totally confused by the name of the action figure the boy wants ("I have no idea what the heck he is talking about!"). One of Santa's elves comes up eagerly and shouts "horse him!" and he holds up this stupid little wooden horse. There is then a shot of the kid saring at the little horse in disbelief. I laugh no matter how many times I see it.
-And, of course, the "Mr. Dumass" commercial. :D

For years Little Ceasars had the best commercials on the air. Hilariously strange commercials and I'd actually look forward to their next promotion to see what the commercial would be.
a couple.
Man on the street
"I found my wallet!"
(dog flies into arms) "Buddy! Your alive!"
(pants fall around ankles) "I lost forty pounds!"
(girlfriend hangs out bus window) "I WILL marry you!"
(hugs long lost twin) "I have a brother?!"
Then I think he got two pizzas for the price of one to make the day perfect
A bunch of scientists are sitting around a control panel. Another scientist is down in the lab next to a sheep.
One scientist pushes a button on the control panel and a cloned sheep appears.
At that moment another scientist brings in Little Caesars pizza and everyone jumps for joy.
They smash the box down onto the button and keep pounding it as dozens and dozens of sheep appear in the tiny lab. The poor scientist tries to signal for help as he is being squashed by sheep!
Little Ceasars owner driving in a convertable behind a poultry truck.
LC Owner:"I've just gotta think of a new promotion!"
The poultry truck hits a bump and sends a chicken flying out of the back and slamming into the window of the convertable
Chicken: "buck?"
LC Owner: Of Course! Pizza's for a buck! Where do I come up with these ideas!

-The clip show Futurama commercial
-The AS Inuyasha commercial "SIT! SIT! SIT! SIT!" (They should do clip show style commercials (like the ones for Futurama and Family Guy) for the action shows)
-That Jansport backpack commercial with the guy following the girl. Sure it makes no sense, but there's just something about it.
-The old Clearasil commercials with no talking and just people dancing and this cool song playing
-The Blockbuster Games Freedom Pass commercial ("I AM A PRETTY LADY!"
-the LendingTree.com commercial ("I'm in DEBT UP TO MY EYEBALLS!!")
-The eBay commercial where they're singing like Sinatra.

the Fosters "Australian for Beer" ads
isn't there an ad where a cat grabs somthing suspended from a ceiling fan blade and flies arond a few times before letting go and slamming into a wall?
an old ad for a vacuum cleaner (I only saw it once) where they say "does your pet shed?" and the cat shakes, when it does it EXPLODES ito a poof of hair, then a harless cat is left standing in the pile, all in a seamless take.
the PS2 Rachet and Clank commercials
the old Super Scope 6 ad where all these kids were being all military like and doiung all sorts of cool poses with the Super Scope instead of a real gun.
another old one where a kid turns an open blender with a pink liquid in it to TURBO and the liquid is ejected fomr the blender in super slo-mo!
the old exploding sauage in the microwave ad.

Reminded me of a good lightbulb commercial, which in turn reminded me of an even better one from the same company.
#1
(extraneous narration about needing lightbulbs that last)
A shot of a Persian cat, sitting calmy while a vacuum cleaner is pushed very nearby. The lights suddenly blink out. All that is heard is a howling cat being sucked up by the vacuum.
#2
(Narrator "You need a lasting lightbulb, blah, blah, blah)
An old couple sitting at a table, the old woman stares with disdain at her husband who is hunched over, slurping his bowl of soup from a spoon.
Woman: All the magic is gone, The moment the lights go out, YOU fall asleep!
The Lightbulb goes out, leaving them in complete darkness and all that is heard is.
*tinkle*(spoon falls on floor)
*SNORE*
*thunk!*Splash!*
*burble, burble burble* (man asleep blowing bubbles in soup).
I love those two.

Damn skippy!!!
My list:
1. Any AFLAC commercial, especially w/Yogi Berra. That's hysterical!
2. Heineken: "The real reason they all walked into the bar"
3. 10-10-220 ads w/ALF. Why they didn't team ALF with that other 80's relic, Hulk Hogan, I'll never know! :D
4. Capt. Morgan (above)
5. Pepsi spot with Sammy Sosa & Jason Giambi

The Barky the Dog one, of course.
Then there's the other Snickers commercial with the lifeguard. This lifeguard's zoning out, looking at the sea gulls and wondering what they're saying. Meanwhile, there's a guy drowning in the background. The lifeguard continues wondering about sae gulls while the beachgoers form a human chain to save the drowning man.
"Oooo! A clamshell..."
That cracked me up every time.
Then there was a Budweiser commercial I saw on World's Funniest Commercials.
This dog gets picked up by aliens. I think the dog is revealed to be an alien in disguise. Anyway, the aliens surrounding him on the spaceship ask him something like "what have you learned from the humans." And the "dog" replies............"Waaaazzzuuuuppp??!!!!:p" This is followed by a chorus of "Waaaazzuuuuuppp??!!!!:p" by the aliens.
Then there's the commercial I saw on Stupidvideos.com (http://stupidvideos.com)called "cat herding." Check it out. Funny stuff. :D

Speaking of Budweiser, while watching the Cubs game today, I saw this AWESOME ad.
One dude thinks it's a good idea to institute a "Catcher for a Day." So we see him in a dream, where he muffs a throw home, and then gets KILLED by the runner, who sends him flying to the stands. Too funny.

Here's some commercials that deserves worthy mentioning:
- The various 'Terminix' commercials in which people go to extreme and unorthodox measures to keep their homes 'bug-free' :D The best one (IMO) is the ad in which the the family are using powerful fans in their home and their guests had to hold onto hand straps to move though the house and had to shout out to be heard, :D at the end of the ad, we see the mother pulling down the boy when he starts 'flying' in the breeze :D :D
The other Terminix ads are:
The newlywed daughter welcoming her parents to her new home with everything cast in concrete. :D
The couple who threw a party in their home with very bright lights (to keep the roaches away), sunglasses and the entree' of melted and bubbling cheese was quite hilarious. :D :anime:
The family who invited their friends to their 'Ice home' is another one that had me laughing out loud
:D :D :D
The 'Caramello' ad with Shaquille O' Neal and that kid. "It's Pure Caramellation!"
The various 'Wendy's' ads with all these 'restaurants' trying to imitate Wendy's all-white chicken meals. I especially like the one with the order-taker going into a long speech about 'chickeness.' :D :D :D

One that's always made me smile is the Staples "Back to School" ad, where a father is dancing up and down the aisles with a shopping cart to the strains of "The Most Wonderful Time of the Year," followed by his less-than-thrilled children. Loved it because it was just a little twisted, yet so very, very true.
My absolute favorite commercial I've only seen once and I can't even rememeber the name of the product. It was from England or Canada, and shown in one of my business classes. It starts with an executive getting a complaint/challenge letter from a viewer about the quality of the drink being promoted - something like Black Currant Tango - he slowly makes his way outside, answering the letter with a sales pitch.
You can see a bigger and bigger crowd gathering around him as he walks, and then he starts changing into shorts and a robe, and putting on boxing gloves. The crowd's still getting bigger, but now but are being joined by rougher types: soccer players, guys in military uniforms, and soon tanks start rolling in. The original executive is still making his pitch, but getting louder and more riled up by the second, working up to him wanthing to take on anybody who wants to disagree with him.
By this point, he's reached a boxing ring set up in the middle of a gigantic field, and has a freaking army arrayed behind him. He gets in the ring and starts bellowing for a fight from the complaint writer. As the camera pulls away we can see exactly how large the crowd really is, and three fighter jets hovering above them as the biggest guns of all.
Supremely cool.

But wait, there's more!!!
The Budweiser Frogs. The first one was the best. It was different then.
The Pepsi commercial with the dancing bears spelling out P-E-P-S-I to the song "YMCA".
The 7-Up commercials with Orlando Jones.
There was a commercial a few years ago where these teens(?) were getting undressed to Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On" when the parents walk in. Catch was, everybody was invisible and all you could see was the clothes.
And that new Pop-Tarts one with the Yeti is pretty good, too.

Oh man, how could nobody have mentioned the funniest commercial ever??
Snuggles, the fabric softener bear, is standing on a washing machine, apparently about to pour some Downy into the dryer.
Snuggles: "If you want your clothes to be snuggly soft--what the...?"
Snuggles hears a noise behind him, and a TANK bursts through the wall.
Snuggles: "JEEZ!"
Snuggles does a perfect "Die Hard" leap to avoid being trampled, but it doesn't end there. The tank chases him out of the house and across a grassy field, with Snuggles grunting like he's about to die. Then the tank FIRES, charring most of Snuggles' fur and setting him aflame.
The commercial, obviously, was for a video game, "Battletanx" or something. But what was funny as all hell was that the damn bear actually CONVINCED me that I was watching a Downy commerical until the tank showed up.
I wonder if Downy had grounds for legal action?

Here's another fan of the Capt. Morgan's and Mr. Dumas commercial.
- Budweiser (??) "Here's to the Wingman"
- Miller Lite "Great Taste, Less Filling" trilogy; oh yeah, boys, those shirts are definitely uncomfortable :D
- the first Geico gecko commercial where he licks his eyeball; I love that part
- there's a foreign commercial for a car and it's two old people, driving the same car. You see the lady first with a considerably younger man in the front seat. She recognizes the car at the stoplight and the guy in the front seat puts his seat down so he can't be seen. She pulls up, stops, and it's clear that she knows the guy in the other car. Shows him his dry cleaning that she's picked up so they're obviously husband and wife. Light changes, she peels off, I think, and we flash back to the old man. His passenger seat is being raised and we see another considerably younger man sitting there with a cowboy hat on. I almost bust a gut when I saw it.

-Pepsi commericial where the guy brings his drink on a roller coaster and twists and turns it all different ways, and even at that final jerk when you stop, not a drop is spilt. He gets off the ride, his friends are telling him how awesome that was, but then a hot girl and her friend ask him what time it is, and he spills the Pepsi all over himself when he goes to look at his watch.
-Heineken commericial where, when one guy passes another bottle to his friend, there fingertips touch, and it freezes there, then play resumes, and the two guys both have an awkward look on their face, one crossing their leg and the other putting a pillow on his lap, commenting on how the game on T.V. should have more cheerleaders.
-I'd also have to say the Barky the Dog Snickers' Commercial. "Someone should put up a sign or something, that says when the water show is," as he stares at the sign. "Does anyone know when the next water show is?" Priceless.
-Foreign commerical where a very endowed woman visits her boyfriend in a Mexican prison. All the guards drool over her as she walks in, but are puzzled when she leaves, as she didn't have the maracas she did moments before. Then they show the guy in his cell, all excited about the two huge hamburgers he's holding.

Barky the Dog: Someone should put up a sign or something, that says when the water show is. [The water show sign is shown obviously in the background next to Barky] Does anybody know when the water show is?
Father: Okay kids, we should all stay away from Barky...
------
Kid: Are you really Barky?
Barky the Dog: Barky is a cartoon...I'm just a guy who made the wrong decisions in life (or he said something to that effect)
-----
Guess what my favorite commercial is...
(in case you couldn't figure it out, its the Snickers commercial with Barky the Dog. The short version with just the "water show" line is great, but the long version is EVEN BETTER! :D )
oh and a decent runner up is the promo for the upcoming Roast of Denis Leary on Comedy Central. The promo that gave us a sneak peek at some of the jokes. I love the line about Dennis Leary's old show "The Job" (or whatever the name was)...
Guy: "The Job" was so bad....Tivo rejects the repeats!
That line cracked me up. That could be said about alot of shows, "The Pitts", "Oliver Beene"...it was just so priceless.

Lemme think:
-The Labatt Blue ad where the bear hits the baseball through the window, and, when he goes to apologize to the tenant of the apartment, is greeted by a hot young woman, who introduces the bear to her friend. (I especially love when they cut to nighttime, the other two guys are still sitting outside waiting for them, and one of them says "He (the tenant) must have been really mad...")
-The Sprite ad where the "Sun Fizz" mascot jumps off of the bottle and chases the mom and her kids;
-The Super Smash Bros. (N64, not Melee) ad where a bunch of Nintendo characters (people in Nintendo-character suits) are frolicking in a field...until Yoshi trips Mario, and it turns into an all-out slugfest;
-The ad for Discover Card chronicling the history of the band "Danger Kitty." (Their popularity soared, and then plummeted, and they ended up playing at kids' birthday parties.) Funny as hell.
-The Crash Bandicoot 2 ad with the guy in the Crash suit trying to go through the airport metal detector with his jet-pack on;
-The old ads for Outpost.com where the spokesman explains the newest promotional stunt they've come up with (i.e., shooting a gerbil out of a cannon through the O in "Outpost" (a bunch of gerbils miss and fly smack into the logo), getting a high school marching band to spell "Outpost.com" (and then sic'ing a pack of ravenous wolves on them), or tattooing "Outpost.com" to the foreheads of the members of a local day care center)

In addition to what I posted earlier on this 'commercial' thread, here's some more.
- The old 'Twizzlers' commercial in which an employee was poking fun at his boss with his co-workers looking on in laughter: You're fired, I'm fired, my moustache is fired :D :D the hilarity lasts until his boss entered the room and his co-workers disappeared, (the boss sported a red moustache which was made obvious :D ) and the commercial ends showing the Twizzler candy. That commercial cracked me up :D :D .
- The 'Snickers Cruncher' ad, with that guy driving (and showing off) the Biggest SUV ever made and then trashing his garage with it was freakin' hilarious, "32 Air bags" :D :D :D
- The 'Behold the Power of Cheese' ad with the two political candidates was also hilarious :D
- The 'Best Buy' ad with John Cleese was a masterpiece in itself :D :D
- The 'Food Network' ad, in which the delivery guy going cross country(Japan?) and then taking a plane to America to deliver the food ordered by the couple. :D

The guy next to her gets up, walks over to the other guy and asks if he's Brad. "Oh yeah." First guy smiles and says, "I'm Alex."
I remember that one. It was a Smirnoff Ice commercial.

One of Santa's elves comes up eagerly and shouts "horse him!" and he holds up this stupid little wooden horse. There is then a shot of the kid saring at the little horse in disbelief. I laugh no matter how many times I see it.
I believe that was a Polaroid camera commercial.

For some reason, I find the beginning of the new Buddy Lee commercial hilarious. Every time Buddy's partner says "Were on it Chief, like a hobo on a ham sandwich." I start cracking up. The line is incredibly stupid, but the guy delivers it is so seriousely that you can't help but laugh.

The Taco Bell version of that commercial was disturbing to me.
What, did they put the dog in the microwave or something?

The commercial had this guy who was hungry, so he went to the freezer and pulled out a frozen hot dog that was sticking out (that part disturbed me a bit). He puts it in the microwave, and a few seconds later, it explodes. But there was another commercial advertising for this oven cleaner that had an exploding hot dog in the microwave also.

I think it was the Easy Clean one, I have a hard time remembering exactly what commercials are advertising at times, and I like it that way :p
I haven't seen anyone else mention "The Real Reason They Walked into a Bar"-- Has anyone else seen this one? That's one of my favorite commercials ever.

My favorite commercial Is from one of those many Hotel websites.
Theres a woman talking on her phone and reserving a hotel for her parents. She finds this Ultra-Modern European hotel. The Commercial flashes to the womans parents walking into a completely metal lobby , and then they try to get the elevator to open but there just a metal wall in front of them. Suddenly it opens up and a guy steps out. It cuts to them brushing their teeth, the guy's trying to find thew on button for the sink and finds a console covered in buttons, he presses one and a shower head that happens to be right above them him turns on. I really only found it funny because that's what it's actually like at many of those hotels.

Oh my gosh...Sand Demoness...I'm so glad you reminded me of that Volkswagon commercial. I used to stop whatever I was doing everytime that came on.
I also like the one where you think the guy is racing to get to his wedding, but he's there to stop the girl he loves from marrying another guy. Love it.
Another funny one. A guy holds a conch shell to his ear and approaches a couple fine lookin' women. "I can hear the ocean," he says "And it's tellin' me you ladies should join me for cool, refreshing Bud Lite." The girls shrug, smile, and walk off with him. A geek who observed this picks up the shell and goes to try it on another couple of girls. "Hey, I can hear the ocean, and it's tellin' me," then he starts screaming because a crab from the shell has pinched on to his ear.
I can't believe no one mentioned that Orbit gum commercial where that guy on the golf course gets a faceful of dirt. I always laugh at that one.
I remember Staples having a lot of funny commercials, none come to mind though.
Axe had some good ones like the one where all the women are saying various things.
"She meant nothing to you??? Well...when you put it that way."
"That is such a coincidence, I collect comic books too!"
"Can I ask you something? Do you mind if our best friend joins us?"
For the most part I was never a big fan of the 7-Up commercials except the one where Orlando Jones has that shirt with "Make 7" on the front and "Up yours" on the back.

- Terry Tate, Office LInebacker. This is the only commercial that has made me literally shriek with laughter. It was great.
- Ace Hardware Commercial where a guy is mowing his lawn, but it's really just a dirt patch. The lawnmower is hitting all kinds of rocks, and one of them shoots out. Then you see two people just walking along and one of them crumples when the rock hits him. Sure it's a cheap gag, but it's funny.
- Any Snickers ad.
I can think of some more, but I'm just not remembering all of them right now. I must be tired. :)

"I'm filled with nature's goodness! Hey, where are you going? I've got vitamins and minerals!" I completely forgot about that commercial, but it IS gut-bustingly funny. It's about time someone got freaked out by walking, talking inanimate objects. Another fave of mine, as I'm sure it is with most everyone, is the John West salmon commercial with the fisherman fighting the bear. Also, the A&W rootbeer commercial with the job interview and the guy calling the boss "Mr. Dumbass" over and over. "The name is... DUMass." Priceless! My final fave is the famous 1984 Macintosh commercial. Parodied many times, but nothing can match the original send-up of George Orwell's classic novel. Good stuff.

Mines are all old.
Got Milk commercial featuring the Trix bunny.
Got Milk commercial take off of twilight zone episode. Guy dies and goes to heaven and a portly angelic man gives him all the chocolate chip cookies he can eat, but no milk, it isn't heaven.
Visa with Charlie Sheen and Martin Sheen playing Charlie when he's older.

I can't believe no one has mentioned the mastercard commercials! My favorite one is the one where the guy is out on a date with this girl and they're naming the prices of the things of the things he buying, then they show the guy coming home and they say "Leaving your money at home"= "Priceless" :D. Then they show George Washington,Abraham Lincoln, and Andrew Jackson sitting on the couch looking teeed off.
Oh and the milk commercial with the two kids sitting at the table and their mother tells them to drink their milk and the little boys says the old guy across the street said he never drunk any milk, then the old guy arms snapped off while he's pushing his wheelbarrow  ! The kids scream, and then the kids and their mother start gulping down their milk. :D That commercial always make me laugh.
There's also the Cartoon Network commercial where all the cartoon cartoon's are giving these lame excuses to call out sick so there's no one left to work, so then they show this boy that's who's sick in bed and the tv says that they having a koala marathon so the boys groans and starts hitting his head on his pillow.

I dunno why, but I thought the Saturn Ion commercials with the four driving through towns that were actually the stages of life ('Childhood', 'College', 'Marriage') were REALLY cool.

Along time ago there was this Taco bell commercial, where this rather large guy was in a circular pink cushioned room, and there is just this refrigerator in there. And the background music is the song saying, "and I'm calling you....", and so he runs up to the refrigerator, and opens it and nothing is there. And he yells really loudly, like its the end of the world. And then a guy wakes up, there are two sitting on a couch, one looks over to the other and say, "dude ya hungry," and hes just like "yeah"
I love the commercial...
and also the ones where the giant onions would run and then they would blow up.

I like the snicker's commercial with the guy in a dog suit called "Barkey", and a customer asks him when the water show is.
BARKEY: Jeez you'd think they'd put up a sign or something. DOES ANYBODY KNOW WHEN THE WATER SHOW IS?!
incidently there's a sign next to Barkey saying next water show at 12.
Then it shows Barkey getting his picture taken with a kid.
BARKEY: TAKE THE PICTURE! WHILE WE'RE YOUNG!
PHOTOGRAHER: Step away from Barkey, son.
KID: Are you really Barkey the Dog?
BARKEY: Barkey's a cartoon! I'm a grown man whose made A LOT of mistakes!
ANNOUNCER: Grumpiness another side-effect of hunger. Eat a snickers bar!
I love this commercial. It suchs now that it's being run edited, now the only part they show is the "watershow" portion, and not anything else. I hate it when they edit good commercials.

The recent commercial for Saturn where cars are driving around a "people" dealership and meets its perfect match. It was a well-done, positive, humorous commercial- a rarity now-a-days. Plus I like the ones for Mr. Goodwrench with Stephen Colbert interviewing people. "Root canal?" "Ye-" "Heh, gotcha."/"OHHH!! That's good melon!" He's just naturally funny. Finally, the Snapple commercials with the human-style Snapple bottles acting out various pop culture scenes. The one where it recreated the Porky's shower peeping scene had me laughing through TWO commercials!

The new Nextel ads are great, especially the Romeo and Juliet spot acted over the walkie talkies
The old Buddy Lee Man of Action commercials, especially the one where Buddy Lee jumps out of the airplane with no parachute and crashes through a barn before the airplane crashes on HIM.
The 1999 VW Jetta Synchronicty ad where the couple in the car turn on the windshied wipers and everything is all of a sudden in synch with the music.

Got another one. Those Mastercard ads you talked about got me to thinking of the latest Visa commercial featuring Charlie and Martin Sheen.
"This isn't you." "It was when I came in here."
LOL, great stuff.
Oh, and the Budweiser commercial where the referee of a football game talks about inches and how it adds more drama to a game. (I can't think of the exact dialouge; anyone wanna give me a hand?)

More:
totally forgiving themselves fo the terrible "com one you old lady" atrocity, Juicy Fruit has bombarded us with at least 2 9that I've seen) HILARIOUS ads.
One involves a guy having his gum stolen by a buy who disguised hiself as a cabinet, then the cabinet guy had it stolen fomr a dude who disguised himself behind a mural designed to look like an office lookout. then he is attacked by a guy hiding in a water cooler. I was laughing hysterically thew whole time.
the second invovles a Pinata being hit and a single gum comes out. when the kiddies go for it the pinata comes to rabid life and assaults the kids to re-claim the gum!

- AFLAC commercials. I'm sure some people find the duck annoying, but I think they're really good at being different in each commercial. Like the one where the duck is constantly interrupted by an air drill; or the one where he's on a roller coaster, or where he's flabbergasted by some confusing guy in a barbershop...pure genius.
- Snicker's commercials are usually very good, but the one I love the most was back when they used their "Not going anywhere for a while?" slogan. The grumpy old man was painting the name of a football team at the end of the field, toiling hard into the day. He finishes and proudly looks at his work, when a football player comes up and says, "Hey, that's great...but who're the Chefs?" Classick
- This commercial starts out with a guy hitting some golf balls. Unfortunately, he breaks everything that's made of glass in sight. He breaks a window, a lamp, a computer monitor, a swan ice sculpture, a large pane of glass...then he destroys an airplane and knocks down a building. Then a line reads, "And you wonder why we also make Heineken in cans?" Very clever commercial, but the part where the plane is destroyed cracks me up every time.
- Cartoon Network commercials are usually pretty good, my favorites being: two-minute "Gundam Wing" commercial; long "FLCL" commercial; the Legion of Doom parodies; Not-For-Air segments; DeeDee and Dexter commercial made by Kasky-Csupo...I could go on forever, really.
- The Juicy-Fruit commercial with the Barney-like whale and the grown-up girl he stole the gum from. I dunno why, but it just makes me smile every time I see it.
- Cheese commercials are also quite fun to watch, including the one where the kid nearly sent the pinata into orbit.

- The Juicy-Fruit commercial with the Barney-like whale and the grown-up girl he stole the gum from. I dunno why, but it just makes me smile every time I see it. I crack up every time I see the so-called "sweet and nice" girl football tackle the guy in the Barney suit, right in the middle of the song about sharing.
Unfortunatly there are much more bad commercials than good, but there are some...
Super Smash Bros. - There was something funny about Mario, Yoshi, Donkey Kong and Pikachu beating eachother up to the Turtles "So Happy Together." :D
BattleTanx - Never got the game or even bothered trying it but this is one of the best video game commercials ever made. Snuggles the bear getting run-down by a tank. :p
BattleTanx 2 - The sequel to BattleTanx had a sequel commercial. Scientists found a bear, barely alive. They made him stronger, faster... than he ever was before. Snuggles is running on a tredmill and a tank bursts through the wall and runs him over.
Mr. Dumass - I forget what it was for... I think some kind of beer but it was funny.
Mario Party - Mario got arrested. :D
Various Toonami Promos - Dragonball, Dragonball Z, Rurouni Kenshin, Tenchi Muyo!... there have been quite a few cool Toonami promos.
Adult Swim Promos - Particuarly FLCL
Pac-Man - I forget what Pac-Man game it was for... there was this neighborhood where I guess a lot of celebreties live. Mr. T and Mini-Me walked out to get their mail to see someone moving in. It turned out to be Pac-Man and he waved at them.
Dragonball Z Action Figures - They are so cheesy and so bad that they're funny. Especially the toys for the androids.
There are more... I'll post them up later.
WHO WILL SAVE US?! Goku?! Vegeta?! TRRRRRUNKSSSS?!
