This is just a question:
Since Season 2 will be aired on Sunday Nights, will they be repeating Season 1 during the week? I hope so, cuz a power failure due to a nasty storm that lasted all night caused me to miss the BECK Comes BACK (Episdoe 9). And no one could tape it for me because apparently a VCR is equivalent to alien technology that no one knows how to operate.

Yes, Season 1 will be repeated starting next Tuesday, and will continue to repeat until August 4th (I think).

Yeah, but up to Aug 4th is only the first 3 episodes...
and Cartoon Network.com doesnt have listings very far in advance like they used to. I think its because they change their lineup so much.
Think itll rerun to episode 9?

You know, the very same thing happened to me when Big O first aired.
I didnt even get cartoon network until 5 episodes into the series!
Why do they always do that? they will replay G-Gundam and Trigun for enternity, but Big O... just once?????

Erm... this is only Trigun's second run. Well, second and a half really, but you get the point. I do agree about Big O though. This is my first time seeing it and I'd like to watch it again.

But yeah, there are series they will run again and again, and yet for some strange reason Big O will run once. Just once. THAT is annoying. My guess to drive up VHS and DVD sales.

...season 1 and season 2 are the same show. They're going to finish season 2 before they repeat season 1. It'd be like stopping at episode 13 of Bebop to rerun them before going on past Jupiter Jazz.

Although I'm not sure how ME having taped it does you any good... Just go out and buy the DVD. You'll get a better quality picture, no commercials, and will be supporting the series. ^_^

After they play season 2, I'm sure they'll show the whole thing several times. In fact, if they end up buying 26 more episodes, I'm sure the series would eventually become a Bebop-esque staple on AS.
At any rate, Bandai is releasing a collector set of the first 13 episodes soon for about $50. If you don't want to wait, then you can get that. (You can probably get it for about $40 online)

Well, they started to do a second run of Trigun before they took it off for Reign and Lupin but they never finished the second run. They took it off before they showed the last 5 episodes or so, which kind of ticked me off, cause I needed to see those. They just brought Trigun back a few weeks ago but they started from episode 1. So, this is either Trigun's second or third run depending on how you look at it. But, it's only had one FULL run as of yet.

I bought the entire first Big O series on DVD. I never saw the first showing where they supposedly butchered the show & took the "Cast in the Name of God..." part out. Was this on Toonami? I'm glad that it is now being aired on AS uncut. Big O is about as cool as Cowboy Bebop. The stuff with the Megadeus can get silly, but the characters are interesting. I'm looking forward to the 2nd season.

And Tlsmith, in the cartoon network version, at the beginning of episode 1, they did the Cast In The Name of God intro...

On the Adult Swim run they did. In the Toonami run, they digitally added another "o" so that it said "Cast in the Name of Good" every time the phrase showed up on the screen.

For example the opening sequence to Big O season 2 was ruined for me with periodic split second audio drop outs. It was very annoying. It's still happening now (has been since last Friday).
For those outside NJ or using satellite are you having this problem as well?
