New Shows Question

I forgot, did someone already give a reason for not getting Love Hina, or has it not been discussed, or what? Cuz I've been reading up on it, and it sounds really good, with an interesting story and everything. I know they can't show Ranma 1/2, but I don't remember hearing anything about whether they can or cannot show Love Hina.

No, it probably won't happen, because AS really doesn't have a place to put non-action anime at this point.

Ah crap. I don't see why it has to be actiony, I don't see why it can't just be Adult Swim Anime. I'm not being rude, but it sounds like a much better idea to have some non actiony anime. Afterall, not all the best animes are action packed.

Sure, there are good non-action anime, but noone would watch them. ASA is low-rated enough as it is. Adding Love Hina would hurt it even more, besides the fact that the show is not what its fans proclaim it to be, and the fact that the dub is supposedly MOST ATROCIOUS DUB EVER.

I'm not going to speak to anything else he said, but Matt's right in this regard. The dub alone should be enough to keep the show off of television. Even though I happen to think the show would be appropriate for AS, I would actually be terribly disappointed if it were announced. No one else should be forced to have to sit through that train wreck.
