In this brief interview at IGN FilmForce (yes, another interview), Mike Lazzo discusses his favorite music, his biggest influences, a plot for a new episode of Aqua Teen Hunger Force, and a new show possibly in production for Adult Swim. Click here (http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/427/427738p1.html) to check it out.

Edit: I dunno if this has been posted before. The date for the interview says July 9, but I'm just now seeing it on the FilmForce front page. My apologies if this has already been discussed.

I won't rest until The Simpsons is on Cartoon Network. We just have some syndication issues with that. But I think that if I could just press a button, that's the one I'd press tomorrow. As long as it's in production, it perpetuates the current syndication deals, so we've got to get beyond that. I think we will, eventually, and then it's just going to be a matter of money.Whoever said Adult Swim is at its peak with Futurama and Family Guy... wait until The Simpsons comes on :) AS will undoubtedly show the first seasons many times, and the fans will rejoice.

I think was mentioned in the interview, but that's okay. Anyway, this was a great interview. The Squidbillys sounds like an intresting premise, and I thought they would have problems getting the Simpsons on Adult Swim. I still say it will be a cold day in hell when we see The Simpsons on Adult Swim, but know I see more of a chance then before. What intruges me most is the Aqua Teen Spinoff. There have been talks of a Moonite vrs Aliens episode, but an entire show about it. Sounds very intresting. I can't wait for more details on that.

I think, symbolically, The Simpsons is great for Adult Swim. As probably the most popular adult-oriented animated series ever, it would definitely bring in the ratings.

But, when it comes down to it, it's just more reruns, and ones that are already or soon will be on DVD at that.
