I mean the relationship seems to be pretty good I mean AS did get Family Guy and Futurama and when was the last time you saw Fox airing and older episode of The Simpsons????
It's like the older season are partically cancelled and if anything it would benefit Fox more then AS because the show was getting more of an audience.
So.......

I dunno if you'd call the "relationship" pretty good... Futurama's here because Fox was preparing to syndicate it, and CN simply snapped up permission to run Futurama on Adult Swim. Family Guy was cancelled altogether by Fox, and Cartoon Network was smart enough to grab the episodes. It's not a relationship like Bandai/FUNimation and Cartoon Network, where one of them will get a hot new property, and give CN the first call asking "Hey, think this'll fit you?"

Probably not. FOX isn't going to allow one of their hottest and well rated properties go to CN. FOX already had Futurama and Family Guy cancelled, whether completley or just don't have any more new episodes made. It was easy for AS to grab them. Wrestling The Simpsons (even early seasons away) however, would be like a rat trying to take on a tiger... with a gun. It just won't happen unless the Tigers falls over because of starvation, and like or not, the FOX tiger is no where near that extinction level.

F/X will get Simpsons reruns before any other cable channel. Surprised Fox didn't sent Futurama and Family Guy over there after they were cancelled.

FOX only let CN grab the rights to air Futurama and Family Guy because they were considered failures by FOX's standards. The Simpsons is something that they would never give to a competetor. FOX is also most likely very jealous of CN right now for giving great success to the two shows that they cancelled. :D
I love the older Simpsons episodes too but they are easily available on DVD (and uncut too :D ).

I have to concur with the majority...
The Simpsone is one of Fox's only legit properties that can put butts in the seats...not to mention they have syndicated it on their affiliates for years. They will not let it die, and certainly will not give it to Turner.

Nope. FOX ain't ever gonna let Simpsons go. Just buy the DVDs or watch them in syndication on your local FOX affiliate. Cartoon Network would have to give them a goldmine (yes, sir, a mine fulla gold) to get Simpsons to go on Adult Swim.

With every season on syndication and seasons one to three (Aug. 26th) on DVD...when pigs fly...
*pig flies by my window*
Friend: So...are you gonna forget that remark.
Me: No, I'd rather not...

Simpsons quote for a Simpsons thread..
Burns: You know, Smithers, I think I'll donate a million dollars to the local orphanage...when pigs fly!
(They laugh. A pig flies across the sky.)
Smithers: Will you be donating that million dollars now, Sir?
Burns: Nooo, I'd still prefer not.

I agree. What better way to move those poorly produced discs than to keep the episodes off the air entirely?

Well, read the interview with Mike Lazzo on IGN... and the 10 questions articles. He seems dead-set on getting The Simpsons on CN, and I don't think he's joking. Perhaps in a couple of decades, when it becomes Nick At Nite material?
