Do exactly what I said. Here's what mine looks like:

7- Dexter's Laboratory
7.5- Codename: Kids Next Door
8- What's New, Scooby Doo? (Get this off of CCF! What the hell was it doing there in the first place?)
8.5- Alvin and the Chipmunks
9- Samurai Jack
9.5- Rocky and Bullwinkle
10- Johnny Bravo
10.5- Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?

I call it Super Sundays!

Now you make one.

Ew.

Robot Jones before Adult Swim?

Eww.

Alvin and the Chipmunks? In prime time?

Ewww!

I'd say at least give ONE night to classic cartoons (heaven knows we don't need yet another primetime lovefest for mediocre Cartoon Cartoon reruns or Scooby-Doo), and since TV Land has turned their Sunday primetime lineup to television history night, CN could do likewise with animation history:

7 PM - The Flintstones
7:30 PM - The Bullwinkle Show
8 PM - Termite Terrace (combine the resources of The Chuck Jones Show, The Bob Clampett Show, with some Toonhead-like tidbits from the other artists, including Friz Freleng and Tex Avery for a one-hour show)
9 PM - Toonheads
9:30 PM - The Popeye Show
10 PM - The Vault (an hour-long collection of classic shows and shorts from, the Turner animation vault, completely uncut . . . perfect segueway to Adult Swim)

I'd say ditto to Jeff Harris' lineup for something that would actually be possible, but I feel like making a scedule that could never possibly happen in the real world :p :shame: . I would probably have stuff like the Flinstones, other H-B and Boomerang's Casper and Friends air in the afternoon right before this "block:"

7:00: Bullwinkle (stole this one from Jeff Harris)
in between: one five minute segment from the original B&W Crusader Rabbit. I think CN could sacrofice some of it's promos and music videos for it. Jay Ward worked on it, so it sort of fits well after Bullwinkle.
7:30: Tom and Jerry and Friends (revamped T&J show, using all of MGM cartoons, not just T&J.)
8:00: Woody Woodpecker (I can dream, can't I? This would just use the shorts organized in whatever way the CN programmers want, rather than a syndicated series. It would use classic 50's/60's bumpers)
8:30: The Bugs and Daffy Show (revamped version. This would use the classic "This Is It" introduction from the 60's, and have new bumpers done in the same animation style).
9:00: The Popeye Show (with new episodes in a perfect world)
9:30: Mr. Magoo and Friends (gotta get my dream of CN showing the classic Columbia cartoons in somehow :D This wouldn't be Totally Tooned In, I'd rather CN just get the individual shorts. It would also include H-B's Loopy De Loop)
10:00: The Pink Panther
10:30: Late Nite Black and White (once again, revamped, with new aquisitions like the Ub Iwerks cartoons or Fliescher cartoons, and some more courage to show stuff like Private Snafu. Or at least get the public domain :bosko:s . New bumpers/presentation would also be a plus).

CN would also need to think of some kind of fun way to package all of this. People really go for good presentation.

Oops! Forgot Mike Lu and Og and IM Weasel.

And yes, I think Robot Jones would fit very nicely before Adult Swim, thank you very much!

I've made revisions and here is "Super Sundays" now:

7.5- Codename: Kids Next Door
8- What's New, Scooby Doo?
8.5- Mike Lu and Og
9- I M Weasel
9.5- Rocky and Bullwinkle
10- Johnny Bravo
10.5- Samurai Jack
11- Alvin and the Chimpmunks
11.5- Whatever Happened to Robot Jones?

Followed directly by Toonami at Midnight:

12- Dragonball
12.5- Dragonball
1- Dragonball
1.5- Dragonball Z

Then Adult Swim:

2- Space Ghost
2.5- The Brak Show
3- Birdman
3.5- Futarama

And at last an early Monday of classics:

4- Huckleberry Hound
4.5- Yogi Bear
5- Two Stupid Dogs
5.5- Popeye (stole this one from Animation Otaku)
6- The Flintstones
6.5- The Jetsons
7- Batman
7.5- Ed Edd n Eddy (So, it's no a classic (yet), but it ends off Sunday and starts off Monday on a hilarious note. :) )

I'll stick to my AS thoughts with your schedule:

Adult Swim at 2? No Home Movies/ATHF/Sealab 2021? Double shots of Brak and Birdman?

...........................................................................yea.

Anyways, I'm no good at making actual schedules...I'll just agree with the idea that classic cartoons are a perfect "Pre-Adult Swim" showcase. It could theoretically be appreciated by youngins' while it WILL be appreciated by the adults who watch Adult Swim.
