Economic Left/Right: 1.00

I'm sure everyone will be shocked by these results: ;)
Economic Left/Right: 1.38
Authoritarian/Libertarian: 1.54
Apparently I'm a Right-winger/Libertarian. Never considered myself a Libertarian.....although my results rank me near Tony Blair and John Howard (both of whom I have a lot of respect for).

Left Libertarain, but still fairly close to the center. A rather odd place to be for someone who considers himself at least moderately conservative, though...

I ended up in the Libertarian Left, but fairly close to the center. I think I should be just about dead center, but this survey obviously has some serious flaws in the questioning. I know it's very difficult to do this kind of survey well, but still. Many questions are loaded and often require a choice between equally unappealing or nonsensical options. Others are pointlessly opaque. Examples:
If economic globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations.
How can this be an either/or choice? The interests of both are closely interlinked.
From each according to his ability, to each according to his need is a fundamentally good idea.
What does this mean? It sounds like socialism, but I wasn't totally sure.
It's a sad reflection on our society that something as basic as drinking water is now a bottled, branded consumer product.
Is this a criticism of excessive consumerism, or of insuffcient conservation efforts?
The rich are too highly taxed.
In what country and tax bracket?
Governments should penalise businesses that mislead the public.
Mislead??? How? We're not talking about McDonalds and its hamburgers of death are we?
The function of schooling is to equip the future generation to find jobs.
The primary function? What level of schooling?
Significantly physically disabled people should not be allowed to reproduce.
What level of disability? Is it genetic?
Social freedom should be the priority of government.
Again, dpo they mean primary? Only?
The businessman and the manufacturer are more important than the writer and the artist.
This has to be one of the most poorly written questions. How can either pair be said to be categorically more valuable when their functions are so very different?
It's fine for society to be open about sex, but these days it's going too far.
Are we talking pornography, or water cooler banter, or what?

The first is right(though I expected it to be more extreme), but I would expect to be an Authoritarian, seeing as how I am a communist.

I'm not really sure what all of this meant. I have a pretty unstable position on politics.

"From each according to his ability, to each according to his need is a fundamentally good idea."
What does this mean? It sounds like socialism, but I wasn't totally sure.
Actully the line has been taken out of contex.
Marx said "From each according to his ability,to each according to his needs; From each according to his ability to each according to his deeds"
So what Marx was getting at is no matter what your ability your needs are taken care of, if you do more you get more above you needs.
This is old school Socialism
Modern is open access basicly the "community will provide"
The way they say it by cutting of the last bit with only "From each according to his ability, to each according to his need" sounds like welfair or something.
The first is right(though I expected it to be more extreme), but I would expect to be an Authoritarian, seeing as how I am a communist.Depending on your brand of communism.
