Hmm my predictions were pretty close...

Now lets see here about this last schedule...

August 30th:
07:00 Saint Seiya
07:30 He-Man
08:00 Zoids
08:30 Transformers: Armada
09:00 Teen Titans
09:30 Rurouni Kenshin
10:00 Jackie Chan Adventures
10:30 G-Gundam
11:00 Pokemon
11:30 Samurai Jack
12:00 .hack//SIGN
12:30 Dragonball Z
01:00 Batman: The Animated Series
01:30 Superman: The Animated Series

- Saint Seiya at 7pm - booh yeah! but will it be called Saint Seiya?
- If that's the new series then it makes sense
- Holy cheese and aligators Batman Pokemon at 11pm? First TF: Armada and now this? It just doesn't seem... right...
- My eye brains are turned to mush now I see Dragonball Z on there. After .hack//SIGN... curious... does this mean it's finally going off of Toonami or are they just using this to air the final episodes again like they planned long ago.
- G-Gundam still kicking around. I guess they plan to give it a full run...
- Rurouni Kenshin between Teen Titans and Jackie Chan Adventures... um... anyone else find this strange
- Jack keeps his 11:30 slot Woot!
- I guess they gave up on Yu-Gi-Oh!
- Sup's and Bat's ending the evening still is cool but never seem to watch that late anyway
- He-Man leaves and comes back... um kay
- TF: Armada back at the early slot... much better!
- Such a odd mix of shows... it's like a parfeit for you mind

Good on you Cartoon Network... I see you still have a "madness to your method"

The new shows for SVES seem to fit in the schedule nicely. Although I'm curious about the hour of Samurai Jack at 7:00 on August 16 and 23 before it gets kicked back to a one time showing at 11:30. If CN's smart, they'll air some new episodes in those spot (*cough* Origin Of Aku Two Parter *cough*) before it goes into total rerun land.

The Samurai Jack episodes on August 16th and 23rd are two one-hour specials. One is "Origin of Evil" (Likely the Aku Origin story) and the other is a Scotsman story.

As far as I know, Dragonball Z is still on Toonami by the end of August. The SVES run will be in the begining of Season Five, if I am not mistaken.

So it's The Aku Origin Episode August 16th. That's great news. But know it's the Scotsman story on the 23rd that's the intruging tid bit. Is it the two episodes already shown, or is it an entirley new hour special? If it's choice two, then damn! That's great news.

I'd like to know this as well. I'd love to see the Scotsman again...

It is "Birth of Evil". Also the Scotsman story appears to be called "The Scotsman Saves Jack".

Cyber where did you get this info. Has it been said?

*marks August 23rd on mental calendar*

"Scotsman Saves Jack," eh? Sounds to me like the episode will probably have little screentime for Jack. He'll probably get captured at the start, and have a part in the end as well, with the bulk of the episode focusing on the Scotsman. Since the "Birth of Evil" probably doesn't have much Jack either, perhaps any future one hour specials will focus on other supporting characters instead of Jack.

Of course, besides Aku and the Scotsman, there really aren't any more supporting characters...

What Zoids series is it? I'm guessing Zero.

I'm sure it is. The first series is usually listed as Zoids:Chaotic Century or Classic Zoids. Plus, Zero has been on SVES before.

WHAT!!! You don't watch the greatness that are GI Joe, Batman, and Superman? BLASPHEMER!

If it's Zoids: CC, then I'm giving up my life and start watching CN 24/7, if it's Zoids: 0, then I'm burning Nick Studios down. It's a win/win situation.

One thing to say here: THANK YOU, CN. Considering that I'm not going to be able to watch SVES that week due to Otakon, I'm happy that the Cartoon Cartoon Weekend is airing that weekend, thus meaning I won't be missing any new episodes of Kenshin and .hack//sign.

I've seen Bat's and Sup's plenty of times so I have no real need to stay up that late to watch them. I've gotta get up at by at least 8:30 Sunday morning anyway. If by chance I'm not going to stay up for .hack//SIGN I usually record GI-Joe as well but I haven't been watching it much. I might watch DBZ after .hack//SIGN though. Nice to review older sagas. I'm having a grand time with Vol 1 of the translated manga that I just bought. Ah memories...
