I am someone who misses the obvious. My brain sees things, and if no one tells me otherwise, come to a conclusion of my own that I think will work given the things I see around me. Especially if I see other people doing what I've concluded is OK.

There's no way to come out of this one without sounding incredibly stupid, wich is why I like to give it the kinder word of Obvious Impared. Lets just say Dog owners get the shaft while Cats get to roam around free and loose ;)...

Anyway, I came up with an invention that could solve this new problem rather easilly. The only thing is, I'm already working up some plans, it'll require a simple bit of automation and programing, but for dog owners, it could be quite usefull.

Has anyone here tried to invent something, and what was the process you used to go about submitting your idea?

Well I onced tried to invent something, by visualizing the concept in my head and then telling my friends about it, who weren't exactly positive with their comments. And then after thinking it over again, I realized it was a stupid idea again and never brought it up until now.

Oh wait, that wasn't what you were asking at all was it? My bad.

We had an "Invention Convention" back in 6th grade where we had to think of an invention and explain it in a little convention in the cafeteria.

I believe my invention was "Flavored Reeds" for all those instrument players out there. As a retired Alto Sax. player, I knew how horrible it was to stick the reed in your mouth after it dried, and flavored reeds would help ease the agony of having to wet the reed.....yuck....reeds....*shudders* :D
