"Employed?" How is that an education level?

Why is there a distinction between college and university? Perhaps JC/CC versus university?? And what happened to grad schools and professional schools?

Obviously the creator's own level isn't all that high.

I just got my university degree this fall. About damned time, too. :) What I can do with an English degree is beyond me, but still, I HAVE ONE! :) Mark me down in that category, please.

Chloe, lose the attitude. I know I'm not a mod, but I just hate it when people make smart *** comments like you do. If you wish to take this further, PM me.
As for me I'm in high school.
And what happened to grad schools and professional schools?
Thats what the "other" option is for. :)

All rather good questions that I was wondering myself....

And that little insult, kiddo, is strike three for you. You are banned.
Now, for the question at hand, I'm not sure how to vote, since the choices are a little confusing - seems like i could fall under the categories of college, university, employed, and/or other. So, I'll just say here that I graduated with my Masters, and am in the working world now.

If it makes you feel any better, Tim, these days you can't do much with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, either. :(

I didn't understand the poll above. Isn't college and university two names for the same thing?
Perhaps you could have phrased the poll like this:
Highest Level of Education Attained
----------------------------------
1. Middle School (graduated 8th Grade, and now in High School)
2. High School (graduated from High School)
3. Associates Degree (in what, from where?)
4. Bachelors Degree (in what, from where?)
5. Masters Degree (in what, from where?)
6. Doctoral (in what, from where?)
As for myself... I earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin in December 2001. I couldn't find a job anywhere in EE, so I took a job as a High School Math teacher. I'm currently earning my Teacher's Certification (for High School Math). In a few years, I'd like to get a Masters Degree, though I'm not sure in what (MBA? Economics? I don't know yet) or from where (I'd like to go back to U.T. Austin, if I had a choice).

I am currently a senior at Penn State University (transferred from Indiana U. Of PA) who is majoring in Elementary Education (love children) with a concentration in bilingual exceptionalities (esp. ESL children, English as a second language). This will probably relocate me to somewhere in the South (more so South West) upon getting this degree. I am also minoring in the field of my most true aspiration, writing, namely comm/journalism...but with great ambition to become a full-time writer (the blind squirrel/acorn theory, anyone..??....but seriously, its a hard field to get into, but if I can put my foot in the door, who knows?)...my writing preference is fiction and I do it for enjoyment and aesthetic purposes; its not entirely efferent, though it takes effort. I'd love to write comics...and therefore might take this on as a double major as I complete my education degree and then go on for my eventual masters in administration.
