I saw this on the main page of Sympatico.ca and I can't help but be amazed at it. The Article is right here (http://auto123.sympatico.ca/roadtest/view.spy?make=GMC&artid=13687) (with plenty of photos). Now only if I could ever afford it... :D

It is just a waste of time. Charging batteries, and the what not, I have seen it for years and it just sucks. Besides, you need a Honda! The FCX is LA only but actually has more go (210 lbs. feet) than that and it take it on.

Why are hybrid carsd ALWAYS fruity looking?! THAT'S why they don't sell...when they stop making them as egg shaped purple cars maybe people will buy em :p

Hey! I happen to like the way they look! I absolutely love the futuristic designs and mechanisms of the vehicle. The only thing concerning me about this car is the price and the hydrogen refueling availability. Other than that, everything looks great! :D

It looks unsafe to me. I can uderstand that it doesn't need a hood, but if you're in a head on colision would you want to be that close to the front of the car? I also really don't like the steering "columns" and the lack of foot pedals. It looks and sounds neat but having everything placed on the handle grips seems confusing. It's not like the decision to give cars steering wheels and foot pedals was an aesthetic decision either, it was practical then and it's still practical now, maybe not for the mechanics of the car, but certainly for the mechanics of the people.
However I love the idea of an alternate fuel source and putting all technology in the frame seems like a good idea, but I'd be more inclined to pick up the Ford FCV Focus than this one.

Man, I really hope these hydrogen fueled cars make it on the market. They are just so friggin' cool.
I do agree that a lot of the times the designs of these hybrid cars are a little goofey. But I actually like the design of this one - sleek, kinda futuristic.
I love the idea of getting rid of the foot pedals, and I like the idea of putting all the controls on the sterring column. I'm just not sure I like the setup presented here. It sounds sort of like motorcycle handlebars - squeeze the handbreak to slow down, and crank or twist the handbar to accelerate. Seems kind of awkward or strange for a car, but maybe its just my mindset, and being used to the tradition automobile set-up.

I think it looks kinda cool....a bit odd, but cool. I'd orobably consider buying one....maybe. The stearing reminds me of the "IT" from that South Park episode....

I suggest they invent that collision foam from Demolition Man.
