What's your favorite sports league(s) & team(s)?

Hi!

I was wondering, what's your favorite sports league(s) and team(s)? It can be more than one of each, of course. :) I was just curious as to which leagues and teams Toon Zone's members support.

As for myself:

League(s): I love the NFL.

Team(s): Specifically, I am a Houston Texans, Carolina Panthers, and Jacksonville Jaguars fan.

Other sports, in no particular order:

-Montreal Expos, Seattle Mariners, wwaaayyyy distant third, Toronto Blue Jays

NBA
-Dallas Mavericks (Go Nash!)

NFL
-No one, I never watch football...

...unless it's Canadian football, in which case I dig the BC Lions and Montreal Alouettes the most :D

Baseball and Hockey are my fav sports. Love the Angels since I live in Anaheim, Cali and all, but since I was a kid I've always loved the Yankees the most. For Hockey it's always going to be the Ducks!

NFL: New York Jets

MLB: New York Mets

NBA: New York Knicks

That's one, count 'em ONE championship in my lifetime. But they're still my boys, because I'm a TRUE fan!

And for the other leagues...

NBA - Dallas Mavs, and trainling behind are the Sonics

NFL - Seahawks, and I have been an in-n-out fan of the Raiders

NHL - in acception for where I used to/now live in.. Vancouver grew to me (gr, i realised it a few months back), and I usually find my self rooting for the Kings and Ducks alike.. don't ask, i don't know how to explain

I'm not much of a sports fan, but I LOVE hockey. Due to my geographic locale, I'm sorta a Washington Capitals fan (yes, yes, they suck, I know...), but I also like the Red Wings and the Flames. I'm also a horse racing aficionado (go figure). :anime:

The only team I follow with any regularity is the Pittsburgh Pirates, and that's only because they're constantly on the radio. Besides that, I really don't have much interest in sports.

Favourite team: The Toronto Maple Leafs (yes, the Leafs, despite them not having done much since '67)

As for the other leagues:

MLB: Tie between the Toronto Blue Jays and Montreal Expos. My favourite American team is the Chicago Cubs

NBA: Toronto Raptors, followed by the Dallas Mavericks and L.A. Lakers

NFL: No one really; I guess I've always been favourable towards the St. Louis Rams

CFL: The Toronto Argonauts, followed by the Montreal Alouettes

I love the NFL, College Football, and then a distant third MLB.

I love the NFL. I guess college football and MLB would both distantly trail.
As for teams,
NFL: Tennessee Titans (gotta love the logo and Air McNair!)
NCAA football: Virginia Tech (close to home and Michael Vick's alma mater!)
MLB: Boston Red Sox (I HATE THOSE YANKEES!)

I pretty much like all sports, though I don't have much patience for the showboating that seems to be inherent in the modern NBA and NFL. :shrug:


NHL: The Washington Capitols. Yeah, I know the Jagr deal seems to have bee na bust, but we're still right on the edge of being something great, I think.

MLB: The Baltimore Orioles........yeah, it's been interesting, to say the least. :sweat:

Soccer: D.C. United. 3 time champions! :anime:

NCAA: Maryland and Ohio State. I go to Maryland and both of my parents are OSU alumni and my brother goes there.
