Kevin Smith does it again with a knock out issues. This series is fast becoming a favorite of mine, one that I cannot put down. The last page from last month's issue had me eagerly anticipating this and I am finally glad to see the peices begin to fall into place. My only now is who will take over the title when Smith & Hester leave to do The Brave & The Bold.

I may have to break down and pick up this series, everyone's speaking very highly of it. I read about The Brave & The Bold today, that sounds like an awesome book, too. I'm glad Kevin Smith is doing all this stuff woth DC...

I was thinking of waiting for the tradepaperback, but I just decided to go with it now. The book is awesome, Hatter. When you get your hands on this - it wil be near impossible to put it down!

K, this message does contain spoilers, but I don't find a box neccessary seeing as you the topic has the word SPOILERS in it.
So, am I alone in thinking that Soul-Ollie will join with Body-Ollie in the next two issues, giving us the modern GA, or will we get soulless Ollie for the rest of this run?

I'm pretty sure that Ollie's soul will make it's way to Ollie's body by issue #10. While this is a really contrived explainaiton for his resurrection - I am definatly finding it entralling and interesting. As for spoiler boxes - do this:
<spoiler> spoiler material</spoiler>
Replace the "< >" with "[ ]" to get the box to pop up.

I'm guessing Ollie-soul and Ollie-body will eventually be reunited, but I don't know if it will be in the next two issues. Seems like Smith is setting up this "hollow" thing as a lead in to something down the line.

Yeah I agree with you. I think Smith will wait a bit before bringing Ollie back to his old self.
Glad to see I'm not the only huge GA fan around here. This book is soooo good. One tiny disappointment though, it's not really a Green Arrow story to me. I mean, the whole fuss about souls, ghouls, monsters, gods and so on, it's great but it reminds me more of Dogma than the old GA!

The book is a bit different then your average GA tale. While religion worked fine into his Daredevil work, it's sorta mixed here. Ou tof all the reviews I read for the book, the few complaints I see are the whole religious thing. But the book is nice. I'm sure everything will return to somewhat normal when issue #11 hits and QUIVER is finished. I a curious, and excited, to see Smith handle some regular tales.
