That picture, that goes under your user name, is an avatar which must be a small image that you may choose in your profile (or edit) options.

Does "Yps" mean anything in German, or is just a name? Also, what does "mit Gimmick" mean?

"Yps" ist just a name. "Mit Gimmick" means "with Gimmick". The "Gimmick" is a toy which is included to the comic book, like a catapult or a kite or magic tricks or sea monkeys or a PEZ box.

Dumb question, but does anyone know a good place or a good way to where I can get a good Avatar picture?

COOL! I always wondered what that meant, too. In my area we tend to have these HUGE
collectibles shows/sales over in Allentown PA, and stuff not too different from what YPS
posted does tend to show up.

Oh, and "ditto" to NickM's post...

I would say that you need to just make one or have someone do it for you. Find an image you like and use a image editing package to crop and/or shrink it to 75x75 pixels or smaller.

Is there some character in particular you would to use? Maybe I (or another person around here) could find you a suitable pic but you gotta work with us... :)
