wellll?
every Sunday I flip on and have a looksee at the cable guide and as always the WS hour has nothing in it.
Home Movies at 11. Nothing from 11:30 - 12:30. Then Oblongs at 12:30.
Why? Is it so hard to squeeze in Birdman/ATHF and Sealab/SpaceGhost? Call it the WS hour or something! Just quit leaving it blank as if CN has an hour of dead air on Sundays! http://members.aol.com/kimminakochan/chicken.gif

Well that sucks for you Rabi~en~Rose. I don't know what to tell you, seeing as how most of us get this hour without any problems, so it must be a problem with you're TV box or something.

Oh, I must have read that wrong. It's probably they have a problem mentioning 15 minute shows or something. Kind of like the T.V Guide (if you look at the Willams Street shows on Sunday, they just mention the one starting at the half hour and not the other 15 minute show).

DirecTV does this; They mention two of the four fifteen minute blocks, and leave the other fifteen minute spots blank. Their synopsises are even more inane.
Aqua Teen Hunger Force:
"Crime fighters include a milkshake, a bag of fries, and a meatball"
SG:C2C:
"Space Ghost solves crime in space" [same description that they give to Space Ghost and Dino Boy]
The Brak Show:
"Brak is a teenager in a sitcom"
Sealab 2021
"Bizarre happenings underwater"
They don't even bother listing the description-less names of the episodes. They always give an episode description for Family Guy, Futurama, and Home Movies, and they post the name of the episode for the anime shows, but never go into it futher. Sorry to break it to you, people, but Adult Swim is too fringe-stream to merrit anything more

They have them for Futurama/Home Movies/Family Guy (and all the other used-to-be network shows) because TV Guide cares enough to write summaries for shows that air in primetime. And they have summaries tucked away in their vast summary archive from years back and they just whip them out and re-use them, therefore creating no effort. My cable box gets descriptions for everything but Bebop and YuYu (when it was on), although WS shows and Oblongs get 2 or 3 word summaries. For shows like Reign and Trigun, it just says something like 'Anime classic following the trail of _______ in the ______ time period and the ______ place.' Psh. Reign... a classic.

My TV Guide Channel doesn't give ANY descriptions or summaries for ANYTHING, so don't complain so hard because I have it worse than you.
I haven't noticed whether they tell which Williams Street shows are showing on a particular night, I'll have to check on that this coming Sunday.

The Adelphia TV Guide shows all 4 WS blocks, but because how teh gude works you can't get a description of the second show each half-hour. But it does have description to most of teh otehr ones.

My cable guide lists the shows, but doesn't give a summary
but my Cable box(Comcast provider) gives the episode title for almost every show(AS&nonAS), and a summary of the series itself, or describes the episode briefly
This is kinda what they do for The Tonight show and Conan. I'd had times where Local News was in the 11:30 slot and Leno in the Midnight spot (Since both shows at att 11:35/12:35 respectively.

My provider doesn't like to provide info as well. I get a "no information available" message a lot for anything on cartoon network and some other channels. Sometimes I might get an episode title. And everything on Cartoon Network says "Family/Children", even Adult Swim stuff. I'm mad at the lack of information I'm provided but, what can I do? Scream at my provider to get off their buts to summerize and list? Sadly, I have complained about that and other things... They're still "looking into" things.
