#3? Wow. That's frellin' excellent. :D

Also good to see Family Guy get close to the top 10 so early in its broadcasts (I know its done better since that), and especially with my favorite episode "Da Boom".

After a dissappointing March, this is great news.

Though I doubt it will be anywhere in the realm of Futurama/Family Guy, I hope the original shows did well on May 25th (I also realize we probably won't know for awhile).

Why don't the anime shows ever make it?Are they not that popular?

it must be because theyre Japanese and everyone hates them.

im kidding. but statistics show many AS viewers shut off the TV after 12. and again this is only the top 100 (or a little more. basically 1.8 and above). for all we know Trigun got a 1.7 or 1.6.

Great news for Futurama and Family Guy(people who want new episodes of Family Guy may get their wish), but OUCH! for Trigun. Has any ASA show other than Reign and the Toonami fillers not made the top 100 at least once?

Reign never made it.

YYH made it about 12 times. Inuyasha made it I believe 8 times (one of them was a 2.0/5 like i said above). Cowboy Bebop made it 1 time.

Which is why I said other than Reign and the Toonami fillers.

It's great that Family Guy is doing wonders for Adult Swim and that it's a quality show that's doing it.

Another month that Action gets screwed over. We won't have much of a block if this continues...

Woo! Great news for Futurama and Family Guy. Too bad that the ASA shows aren't in the top 100, but I'm sure they're doing well outside of missing out on the top listings for the month.

What do you mean got "screwed over"? By people not watching it? There could have been some 1.8's or 1.7's in there. You can't reasonably expect anime to get higher ratings from american viewers than Futurama or Family Guy. And besides, high ratings from those shows creates more money for the block as a whole, not just that hour.
(I'm reminded of the producers of Coupon: The Move, which made "0 money". They decided that "the American public has crewed the movie industry for the last time" and sued every American citizen for not seeing the movie.)

the first hour of ASA only gets about 600,000 viewers. The second only around 100,000, estimating from the report about Men 18-34 beating all other late night shows in all AS time slots.

I think the anime shows are just on too late. At least that seems to be what the bumpers imply.

Actually, it's more like 600,000 and then 300,000. 100,000 was just Men 18-24.. 300,000 being Adults 18-34.. those 10 years do count.. and the womens.

Have no fear, we'll soon test the claim that it's the time slot that matters once Big O gets the covetted starting position. I do wish they'd show the first 13 as well, too get the average comedy viewer in the loop about what's going on.
