The online CN schedule shows that Home Movies will be on at 10 and 10:30 this Sun. The rest of the schedule looks to be normal. I'm sure lots of folks won't be happy about this since this is one of the most popular parts of Adult Swim.

According to the online schedule, this will also be the case for Oct. 7. Whether things will go back to normal on the 14th remains to be seen.

There is always the possiblity of changes to the schedule, but don't hold your breath.

Strange. Very very strange. If anyone can shake down a CN exec for info on this, I'd appreciate it...

OK...while there will be no Brak Show this Sun., and Home Movies will be on twice this Sun instead, it looks looks like Brak will have one ep. shown on Oct. 7.

Home Movies will be on at 10 and 10:30 on the 7th as I said earlier. However, Brak will be on at 11. This will be just one 15 minute episode entitled "Bawk Ba Gawk," which was the one that aired during the stealth premiere in Dec. Of course, this time change eliminates the Birdman/Hunger Force block.

So the good news: It's not too long until we get to see more Brak, and it will be a show that is new to most viewers.

Bad news: This ep. has existed since at least Dec. and, with the repeats we've seen for the last two weeks, I have to wonder what's going on as far as new eps. are concerned.

The Brak Show was one of the programs I was drooling to see; but as soon as I get cable they do THIS to me?!

It's a conspiracy, I tells ya, a conspiracy!

Ok, if they need time to make new episdoes, so be it. I will be waiting for the day Brak returns to TV, but do we really have to suffer TWO episodes of Home Movies???? They couldn't have gotten Mission Hill? Clerks? SOMETHING ELSE for the time being?

This is a GREAT fansite for adult swim:

It shows the schedules quite far ahead. And yes, it does look like an hour of Home Movies is permenant. Fine by me...I really like the show.

Ah...thanks. I haven't visited that site in a while because looking at it hurts my eyes. I guess they're airing more Home Movies since they have an abundance of those from the UPN run and need time to make more of everything else.

BRAK IS CUT DOWN TO FIFTEEN MINUTES EVERY TWO WEEKS?????

To quote Brak from the episode where he lost the talent show, crying included, "This is an outrage!"

Gack. Would it really be that difficult or expensive to purchase another series so those of us who aren't fans of Squigglevision don't have to wade through an hour of the stuff? Honestly, some PJs or Duckman would be nice, and I imagine CN wouldn't have to pay much for the rights.

What's interesting to note which I posted on TZN was that the creators of the show, Soup2Nuts have dumped the Squigglevision style for all their shows and instead will be using internet-ready Flash! I suppose when the second season of the show hits the air, it will have the new animation.

I'd be pretty happy if they dumped one of the Home Movies half-hours to show old Dr. Katz reruns. If they brought that series back and made new eps., I think that it would do pretty well.

Tick reruns would work well too. I dunno if Comedy Central still has control over either of those series, though.

I'd be happy if they just dumped Home Movies! Seriously, tho, I don't really wish that, as I respect anybody who's a fan of this show (after all, I still like Family Guy, even if the majority of you all bash it!) but I will still check it out sometime and give it a second chance. Heck, if Cartoon Network thinks it's worth holding onto and all you think it's worth while, maybe I'm just missing something.
