I did today. BTW, do you know a site where I can find pics of melted army men (the little green kind)?

*puts on poor imitation of Woody to tell Sly to Play nice* :p

I can't say I've ever melted one with a magnifying glass but in my youth many moons ago I did bring a nasty accident upon my brother's Action Man that resulted in his losing an arm so I'm not entirely blameless *blushes*

We don't get enough sun over here to do that either...

A site to find pics of melted army men? That's a request I've never heard before... :p

Anyway, I've never managed to melt my army men (or any other figure) with a magnifying glass. I never was able to get to magnifyin' right. Besides, the microwave works a lot better. :D

I recall Action Man (the UK name for GI Joe) got some severe battering tied to my bike then made a reappearance at 18 by helping me make my then girlfriend die with laughter... that guy could dance if you could work him... and he was always naked. Don't think I can recall what he looked like with clothes... just remember his awkward and bizarre joint structure and shifty eyes...

So, erm, no. No melting of toy army men... never been a toy army man sort of guy (and I didn't melt my Star Wars figures either!)..

I have melted army men. I melted them many ways like a magnifying glass, flamethrower made of matches and hair spray. It was fun :)

No. Never gave Barbie a haircut, either.

Reading this thread makes me realize just how many of us are completely insane (including myself). :)

But, wow, Kudos to you. I can't imagine how long it must have taken to melt one of those guys.

In terms of toy destuction, I did the usual break-the-heads-off-your-sister's-Barbies (this was before I gave them away to the neighbors.).

Oh, it didn't take long at all. *evil laugh*

Well, whatever floats your boat I guess. What's up with these twisted fetishes?
