Hmmm... To be honest, I had never heard of the "Old Man" It's sad that such a long standing landmark is gone, but that's the nature of such things.
What can I say, Time and Geologic forces wait for no man.
Someday, the Rocky Mountains will be Foothills
Someday, Bermuda will sink into the sea, and new Islands will take it's place.
The same for Hawaii
Change it inevitible, so get ready for it, because like it or not, it's coming.
You can learn a lot about Philosophy by studying Geology/Geography.

Awwww, that's sad to hear, but it is nature. I just have to ask, how do you "revitalize" a mountain?

I thought it was a Warners cartoon brought to life! But really, it was a stress fracture it couldn't take.
