Nope, not a real man...more like a symbol of New Hampshire.
That's right New Hampshire's Symbol (on it's state road signs, on the New Hampshire quarter, and probubly on most legal documents for NH for a long time) The Old Man on the Mountain has fallen down.
Now I dunno why...but this is rather sad news for me. Both my parent's are from the Vermont/New Hampshire area, and That Old Man was known to me since I was an Itty Bitty baby. I've even camped for the past three summers under it at the State Park.
By reading Yahoo News it seems like they'll do something to rebuild it...weither it'll be fake rocks or what I do not know, but It won't be the same old man.
Any thoughts?
