No clue as to what this episode is about. After May, there won't be any new Transformers Armada episodes for a little while. The 8:30 slot will go to other programming for a while (including Justice League premieres, if I'm not mistaken), before Armada comes back, probably in the fall.

Enjoy.

I think it's safe to say the Autobots and Starscream will attack the Decepticons base. That should be cool.

One question: Why didn't they change Smokescreen's name to Hoist? The toy was named Hoist. Why not him?

After the greatness that was the Samurai Jack episode Armada was well, bad. We've had a nice run of relatively good and intriguing episodes but this one was just boring. Oh well, hopefully next week will be better.

Another solid episode, and having the Autobots on the offensive is a nice change of pace. It looks like the Decepticons are screwed now wihtout their precious mini-cons (jeez, I didn't even realize they had that many of them). I don't recall seeing if the Requiem Blaster mini-cons left Megatron with the rest though.
I'm still wondering what the purpose of Megatron's mini-con built ship is...

As Osiris said, this episode (compared to the others....) was violently bad. I cannot believe how bad after all of the good episodes, it must be that they are shifting focus back to the kids. It is really getting annoying, plus this episode seemed to be based off (or visa versa) the Comic with the wholre Minicons building a Ship and all.

I already reviewed this episode. You can find the review here... http://invisionfree.com/forums/TfUnlimited/index.php?act=ST&f=5&t=289&st=0&#last

I thought this episode rocked! I like how Starscream and HotShot kicked Megs butt! Just read the review.

*sigh* Couldn't some of the minicons had loyalty to Megatron? Is that too much to ask. The animation was really poor, the kids just kept changing places. And what was the point of Red Alert staying behind today? On the plus, the ending with StarScream was good, and him and HotShot working together was cool.

Babysitting, of course:rolleyes: I pity Red Alert. And we need the kids in this show why? I mean, they could get away with leaving Alexis in and I wouldn't mind as much, but the rest are just annoying. It was nice to see the Autobots on the offensive, taking a little initative for once. So what's up with the ship the Minicons were building? *strokes phantom goatee* :p

my little bros found this one borig, i did too, to a degree, what with all the action going on, but still, it was only a marginal ep.

the anmiation for the TFs wasn't too bad in this one. the only gripe I had was when Megs was fighting Starscream and Hotshot in once scene they had him decked out with Tidal Wave peices. and too many of the same Minicons showing up (who was that Jetfire colored one with the triangle head, i don't recognise that one)

I kinda liked the ending how the ending forced you to assume Starscreem decided to stay with the Autobots, but the director should have handled it better, like merely showing him begrudgingly teleport back to Autobase, and new animation (not the same form a few shots ago) of him complaining about the decision.

Nice to see Wheeljack again, and more proper use of the Minis (I loved how Percept-OR separated to avoid being attacked)

what is with Thrust i alsways get a weird vibe from him, maybe it's just his voice actor and the silly lines they give him

Pacing is not Armada's strong point... Well, not much is... Sideswipe tackling Tidal Wave was cute, though.

After Samurai Jack this is sad... Again we see that Alexis is the only one of the Kids who actually is useful to the Autos, but still that doesn't redeem the bad animation... and isn't Preceptor called "Leader-1"?

Poor Red Alert is again out of the action to babysit the morons I mean... kids, all 5 of them, 2 of which didn't even say a word -_-. Always nice to see the Autos in action again istead of whining about lost minicons.

no, Percept-OR was properlly named I think we got thru the whole ep without any name errors (is that even something worth being proud of?)

It was an OK episode, not great.

What size is Tidal Wave supposed to be? He changes size so often its hard to tell. In some places he towers over everyone, in other places he's nearly the same size as Hot Shot.

And I see Smokescreen's new body doesn't make him any smarter since he help's Tidal Wave get unstuck and then gets clobbered for it.

OMFG, the good guys went on the offensive!

Nice to see Perceptor get some screen time.

The kids continue to comment from the peanut gallery. (The writers can't justify their existance in the episode, but aren't allowed to just leave them out.)

Tidal Wave does keep changing size.

Yes, why does Megs need a ship? The transformers in this show travel by warp gate. They seem to have very long range warp gate abilities, if you recall the first two episodes.

I think this was a decent episode overall. Maybe because the whole thing was an action sequence, and thus required no plot.

I half expected StarScream to leave the Autobots and go freelance, or maybe join up with Sideways. He certainly doesn't play well with others. I guess now that he managed to defy the authority of Megatron, he's reluctant to fall under the authority of Optimus. Makes him quite the wild card. Best thing the writers have ever done in this show. Definately a shade different from Beast Wars Dinobot, who stayed a curmudgeon yet respected the chain of command in the Maximals.

A decent episdoe, with three affirmative conclusions.

1. Starscream, for better or worse, is with the Autobots.
2. Red Alert will betray the bots to actually shoot something.
3. The kids need to die. Alexis is the only half decent one.

I agree when I first saw that I was a bit puzzled. But one possibility is that the warp gates they have their on the earth and its moon are only short range gates. To get from Cybertron to Earth may have required a special long range gate, one that they can't build with the remains of the crashed Minicon ship. Or maybe they can build one which opens a portal on the ground, only in the dead of space.
