I don't think so, considering that Disney owns the rights to the Pokemon movies.

No dice. Technically, Miramax definatley owns the LATER movies like 4Ever and the upcoming Heroes, and Disney won't have them for long, as Eisner's relationship with the Weinstien Brothers in going sour (I read it at Animated Movies (http://animated-movies.squareworld.com/News.html), check the February-to-mid-March archives for such a story). Personally, I think WB still owns the first three (The First Movie, 2000, 3-The Movie), though the fact that they released them can't keep them in their archives with the property owner's changing directions, so I may be wrong. If I am wrong, can someone please give me written evidence that someone else owns the Pokemon movies, like an article or something?

If they (WB) still own the first three, I would just LOVE to see them air on CCF or some other time on CTN. They just kick ass.

Only 4 & 5 so far.
I believe 1-3 were released by WB, so those can go to CN.

That still doesn't account for why Pokemon is in the ccf promo under movies and yet no info has been released other than that.....

I suspect they will at least air the first movie (and maybe the DTV special that is the true sequel to it) and possibly the second movie. I don't except the third yet, but it's possible. I'm gonna laugh long and hard when Pokemon 4Ever airs in the Magical World on Disney on ABC or on the Disney Channel... It'll air on HBO before anything else though (the past two have). I actually haven't seen Pokemon 4Ever so that might not be a bad thing afterall. I wouldn't need to spend money on renting it.

If ANY Pokemon movies or specials air on CN it better be Spell of the Unown or Mewtwo Returns.

The two best, IMO, considering I haven't seen 4Ever yet. Heroes looks really good, and the 6th one that's being worked on in Japan right now seems interesting.

*wonders if the Hoso specials and the Entei special will ever get dubbed over here*

Just saw a commercial for Cartoon Theater. They listed off a bunch of movies that will be shown, such as The Iron Giant, Tom and Jerry: The Magic Ring, An American Tale, etc. and, yes, one of them was Pokemon: The First Movie.

No specific date though.

Maybe It'll Premeire on CCF and then go into syndication on Cartoon Theater?

Wait...

Let me get this whole thing straight, they've decided to premiere the first pokemon movie in the sunday morning 'Cartoon Theater' timeslot?

Or are they going to use some common sense and air it on a Friday night?

Anyone who can help clear that up, Thanks.

Yeah, they should at least air it in primetime. And why is the PPG movie bypassing HBO and the other premium channels? Did it really do so badly that no other channel wants to touch it?

I 've been wanting to see the last 2 movies. Are they better than the first two?
