Last Sunday, when Paul O'Neill of the Yankees hit a home run in the bottom of the ninth to tie the game (which the Yanks ended up losing anyway), the ball landed one section over from where I was seated in the bleachers. I watched the reply later and I was able to find myself in the crowd. Look for the circled area in the lower right... that's me!

Is that smilie bleeding ?!
Hold on, back it up (screeeeeeeeeech). The Yankees got a home run? The New York Yankees, the ones who all the boys in my class talk about? The ones that, according to the boys, are [bleep]s?
Don't attack me, I'm only the messenger!

Looks that way, doesn't it? I picked that one because it looked like it was rotting from the inside...coooooooool. You think's that's bad, dig this baby....http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/other/pacscat.gif
Or this one (which I might use a lot come the WB fall season)--http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/otn/puke/repuke.gif
As for the Yankees, I wouldn't know--I don't folllow baseball. It seems to me that a few years ago Letterman and Leno and all lthe late-night pundits' favorite whipping-boy was the Mets. Things changed, eh? Well, a toast anyway to the Yankees for scoring that home run, even if they still lost the game....http://cwm.ragesofsanity.com/kao/chika/chirolp_buha.gif

They might be evil, but they're not "evil". There is an official "evil smiley", with horns & everything. I've seen it on certain RoRo mbs. Not here, tho. Eh, no-thing is perfect.

I've been on tv @ least twice. Once when our school had skip day out @ Lake Wright Patman; one of the Shreveport stations had it as part of their "what people are doing for Memorial Day weekend" story. And I think 3 years ago I think it was the same station showed a few seconds of the graduation ceremony @ the school, including a scene lasting *snap* that long of me playing for the thing. But then, not much happens around here compared to big towns; probably everyone around here has been on tv 2 or 3 times.

She never lets me forget it, but she's been on TV 7 times. 4 times on Public Access recieving awards from the City Council, 2 times on local sports news, once profiling her Basketball team and once profiling her and 1 time on ESPN they showed her picture when she was chosen as one of many Junior High academic allstars representing our state. I can only brag about my phone call to a sports TV show that was aired on a now defunct All Local Sports pay channel.

Well, this is probably a little late to think of this in reply to this thread, but I have been on the radio a few times. I had a poem of mine read on the radio once, and I have had some of my music played on a couple college stations (one in Minneapolis and the other in Miami). So that's my claim to about 15 seconds of fame.
For the curious to wth I am talking about, click on my "website" to be taken to a page that has my CDs up for sale!

Of course, the songs on there are DIY home demos. Nothing too polished, but it's something I am proud of.
