I just thought of something depressing about the new AS Action intros and outros.

Do you realize the old martial arts dude is probably never going to beat that young cyborg guy?

I mean, he keeps getting electrocuted and kicked in the balls and squished by a giant robot...and one time his head even fell off!

I dunno, I just feel bad for him, is all...

Wait, I'm confused....there's a cyborg girl (a vaguely looking Gundam/Pilot Candidate girl), and there's a samurai guy, and then there's the other oriental person who looks like the instructor. (The one you refer to as "the old martial arts dude") But there's no "cyborg guy". Just the samurai, the robot pilot (with the laser gun and the blast shield) and the old guy that is constantly getting hurt (who looks more realistic, as apposed to manga-esque. I always thought he was supposed to be the instructor)

God, I hate those little things anyway. I think those segues are good for the comedy block, but are inappropriate for the "action" cartoons. For those they need to bring back the robot voice. Or at least make individual bumpers for the individual shows. But I kind of think they should mix the new bumpers with the old ones a little, but have the new ones mostly dominating the block, and bring back the old music, but we're getting off track.

To be fair, that could describe half the male characters in anime. But I'll take your word for it. :)

I feel bad for him too if he was real I would give him a hug. Nah, I wouldn't. I hate hugging old people they smell like Bengay too much. Yeah they need to create some new bumpers for the action block. Rikou that guy's not hot....you need to higher your standards a bit.

At least the action bumpers aren't the same as the comedy bumpers, ie: taking the characters from the show doing lifeguard stuff.

Although... If you take the one with McGuirk getting CPR while feeling up the girl giving the CPR, and put it on during Inuyasha, you could easily replace him with Miroku.
