Awhile ago Zedizded made a poll for Best AS Female Voice (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?threadid=70424&highlight=poll+voice) but never got around to making one for the guys. So I thought I'd do it myself. To narrow the choices I only included actors that have done at least two prominent voice roles. But you can still vote for one-role players or someone I missed in the other category.
The contestants
John DiMaggio: Futurama- Bender; Reign- King Phillip
Billy West: Futurama- Fry, The Professor, Zoidberg, Zapp Branigan, Leo Wong; Oblongs- Mr. Klimer, James (3 butts kid). Also well known for Doug- Doug Funny; Ren & Stimpy- Stimpy
H. Jon Benjamin: Home Movies- Jason, Coach McGuirk. Also guested on ATHF as Mothmonsterman. Also Know as Ben Katz on Dr. Katz
C. Martin Croker: The Brak Show & Space Ghost: Coast to Coast- Zorak; Aqua Teen Hunger Force- Dr. Weird, Steve

Acoording to my sources,(TVTome) he's never been on an Adult Swim show. I didn't include Brendon Small because it's his only role.

Only in the movie, Lucas was in all the episodes.

Also well known for Mobile Suit Gundam- Char Aznable/ Caspar Zeon Daikun
Char is Michael Kopsa, not David Kaye. Char doesn't even sound remotely like Kaye in the first place -_-
I'm gonna go with H. Jon Bejamin. He's hilarious in 2 completely different roles :p

Yes, but a recent article said that Blum did Spikes voice in the TV Series also. It doesn't matter of course, I mean they sure sound alike;)

Oh God, enough spamming with this crap. You all know the truth. Anyone with the attention span to read the credits knows the truth. Please, oh please don't waste pages of a thread again discussing this ridiculous issue. :(

I'm surprised I'm the only one to vote for Billy West, IMO one of the most versitile VA's in the business. The only fault I can see is that he's never done any work with Williams Street directly.

on another note, I got all my info at TV Tome (http://www.tvtome.com/) and some of it may be incorrect, sorry. For instance, If I did a little more research I would have nominated John Billingslea (Jet Black) and taken out one of the IY guys, but TV Tome's entry for him was pretty sparse, only today did I check elsewhere and find out much he really has done a good deal more.

There's nothing wrong with that....as long as it's Inu Yasha. [/bias] :D
I'm going with David Lucas, he just hits the mood perfectly with him as Spike.

Nope, they just all happen to all be very experienced and that's what I was going for. Look at them, Cox voices Ranma, one of the best known Anime characters ever, and the other two are definitely no slouches either. Maybe I'm a little biased against Lupin, Yu Yu Hakasho and Reign (not really impressed by the performances in any of them), but I did check them out and none of the main VA's had an impressive resume. I almost put on Johnny Yong Bosch for Vash, but if I put in one guy who only has one major voice credit, I'd be called on for not putting others. I will admit I should have put in John Billingslea though. I made sure to put in an "other" though

John Katz uses his regular voice for Melissa's Dad, its kinda hard to miss him. I loved Dr. Katz on Comedy Central, anyone know if CC still has airing rights to it or Soup To Nuts is just letting it rot away?

Gotta love someone who can do an angry coach (McGuirk), a fat, nasal voiced kid (Jason) and a squeaky voiced weirdo (Walter) all in the same show, so I say H. Jon.
Vote McGuirk in the Delaney Poll!

Not really. He's also plays Dwayne and Perry on Home Movies as well as Brendon. Technically, they're two small parts, but I think he does them well, and no real distinction between his Brendon voice and his others is also a sign of good voice acting.
However, I would have to go for another one you missed on the poll, Dave Willis. For being able to play the high pitched Meatwad, the verage Jersey Carl, and the "All Knowing" monotone Ignignoc on ATHF takes some real skill. You should have given him one of the spots instead of being an Inuyashist. (I have nothing against the shows or the voice actors, but you should only give one spot to each show, unless they're also parts of diffrent shows).

Well, I went with Kirby Morrow, simply because I like the quality of his voice. Now I'm kicking myself, tho': I should have gone with Billy West for overall versatility! Ah, well. . .

Don't use TV Tome for credits, like IMDB and others they have an immense number of mistakes (looking at MS Gundam, you've got the Char mistake, Carly McKillip credited as Fraw Bow when its Kristie Marsden, and Brian Drummond credited as Garma Zabi when its Brian Dobson, and Mark Gatha credited as Domon Kashu, a character that isn't even in that series, one that was dubbed by a different studio). It looks like they don't screen their credits, just like IMDB. Use Crystal Acids (link below in my sig) for anime dubs, every series is posted before submission so obvious mistakes don't show up. And when a mistake is found, its fixed right away :p
And wow, H.Jon Benjamin voices Walter too? Makes him even better :D

Easily Clay Croker (Can't you tell by my username?)!!!! I think he's the coolest. He can do a ton a stuff with his voice!

I don't know about the "best" voice, since I haven't heard all of these characters and I'm no voice expert. But uh, whoeveritis that does Spike's voice  is my personal favorite. Beau Billingslea as Jet and Richard Cox as Inuyasha both run a really close second, however.
Who does the voice of Vash? Johnny Yong Bosch? He's excellent too.

David Lucas, he has the most coolest voice I think he deserves this vote, and let's hope this Animaze voice actor do great on the other Animes.

Lucas rules, but Benjamin has far more versatility. Plus, Benjamin has a role in the writing of shows and not just the voice acting. That's a big bonus in his favor.

Hmm, guess I shoulda read the credits before I voted! I wasn't sure who any of them were so I went with "Other" and decided on Scott McNeil since I happen to be quite fond of Koga as well as Duo.
If I'd read first, of course, I would have gone with whoever did Trowa's voice. (EDIT: Kirby Morrow! Love that name! ) He's very articulate and fun to listen to.

Really, really tough call. Billy West does a superb job in a wide range, and George Lowe's portrayal of Space Ghost is classic voice acting in its own right (to say nothing of Brak's dad).
In the end, though, it came down to Lucas and Benjamin for me. And although Lucas nails Spike to a T, even better than his Japanese counterpart in my opinion, Benjamin gets my vote for doing a superb job on two very, intensely different characters. I wouldn't know Jason and McGuirk were voiced by the same actors if no one had told me.
None of the Inu VAs really deserve much recognition- adequate though they might be.
