Since I'm a lil bored I thought I'd throw together this list to try and put things in some perspective.
Adult Swim
Cowboy Bebop
Inuyasha
Reign the Conquerer
Trigun
Other
Hamtaro
SVES
.hack//SIGN
Dragonball
Gundam 0080
G Gundam
POKéMON
Yugi-Oh
Zoids
Toonami
Dragonball Z
Ruroni Kenshin
Yu Yu Hakusho
They have the rights to air but don't at the moment:
Big O
Blue Gender
Ghost in the Shell
Gundam Wing
Kikaider
Lupin III
Mobile Suit Gundam
Sailormoon
Zeta Gundam
Zoids Chaotic Century
Unsure:
Blue Submarine No.6
Ronin Warriors
Outlaw Star
Tenchi
CN is currently airing 15 animes and has the right possibly still to air another 10 or so. 15 is alot more then any other network but compared to good old toons the space they take up is not so big in the overall scheme of things.
Note that Hamtaro is the only anime the airs outside a specific block. This could mean either that CN either wants to spotlight anime by putting them in their big blocks, or thinks it will only do well in them. http://members.aol.com/kimminakochan/chicken.gif

They should still have the rights to Zoids Zero as well. And they definately have the rights to Wing because it returns this summer. Plus they have the rights to Kikaider, Big O, Zeta Gundam, and possibly GitS and Blue Gender but haven't premiered them yet.

You forgot one more, Transformers: Armada. Transformers was in anime several times before Armada and RID came out.
It's really easy to tell that CN's staff loves anime, note that CN has more Anime than ABC Kids, FOX Box, and Kids WB combined.
The earliest CN has had anime was back in 1995 when the shown Vampire Hunter D for a special one time only deal, this in the days before Toonami & Adult Swim were even thought of.

I had Zoids Zero listed in SVES as Zoids since that's what it's called here. And all them other ones I just added, thanks!

I don't consider TF:A an anime since it was funded for the most part by a US company and premiered in the US first as well. It's like Batman Beyond and many other US series, the animations done in Japan but not much else. http://members.aol.com/kimminakochan/chicken.gif

Well, it was written by a Japanese person, and directed by a Japanese person and (insert profession here) by a Japanese person...
CN should continue to air anime outside any particular block.I always imagined thats how CN would use that as a way to air less-edited anime on their station by not having it constrained to a particular block's standards.

A good idea for CN, but they aren't going to air less edited than Toonami standard anime outside of Adult Swim. It's just the facts... They could air anime movies though. "Ah My Goddess" could air on CN with minimal editing, but the movie doesn't fit AS or Toonami.

Actually as far as I know we've never really gotten positive confirmation that Cartoon Network has acquired the television rights to Ghost in the Shell: Standalone Complex yet. The most I've heard is that they're in talks. I KNOW they don't have the rights to the movie. Also they've probably lost the rights to Sailor Moon by now. Anyone know for sure?

i hope they haven't lost the Sailor Moon rights. i for one would love for SM to return to Toonami. but its been so long that, most likely, they have lost the rights.

You're going to want to add Pecola, a CGI anime for little kids that's going to be airing in the mornings, starting April 21st.

Looks like Animal Crossing the series.

Just curious... did they show this uncut? I'd doubt it... but then, I'd have doubted they'd show this at all, back then...

Made the requested changes. Feel free to suggest more. :)
Oh, and on Vampire Hunter D-- I am not sure whether it was shown uncut or not. It WAS shown during late night, but I do believe ads for it were shown during the day and during primetime-- i.e., before the 10pm cutoff that CN uses nowadays for Adult Swim promotion.
You forgot Pilot Candidate. :p
Pecola huh? How come nobody mentioned this before?
Speed Racer (KNEW I left this out!)
Why can't they air Speed Racer

Why can't they air Speed RacerBecasue they ran through their contract with
Speed Racer Enterprises (http://www.speedracer.com) and decided not to renew it for whatever reason, or SRE didn't want to continue with CN. Anyways, the show is coming out on DVD, so you can always rent it.

looks complete to me. unless you want to count Thundercats as anime, and i know some people that do.

looks complete to me. unless you want to count Thundercats as anime, and i know some people that do.Thundercats is no more of an anime than Batman: TAS, Superman, Animaniacs, Muppet Babies, or Justice League. In other words, it's not.
And on a semi-related note, it irks me that many people believe that the original 80's Transformers series is an anime, especially when it was written, storyboarded, and voice performed in the US by Marvel, Sunbow, and Claster. It also irks me that these same guys won't say that G.I. Joe is an anime, especially given the fact that both shows were done BY THE SAME FRICKEN COMPANIES!
Both aren't anime, btw. Just making a point across.
Matthew: As for that special Anime Week in '95, the movie you've forgotten the name of was Robot Carnival. You remember Twilight of the Cockroaches but not Robot Carnival?
And how about Miffy? That's kind of anime (I think either Toei or Sunrise animated that with a French company) that aired during Small World, one of the two international animation programs that aired on Cartoon Network (O Canada was the other one).
Also, a couple of rumored shows need to be added:
Saint Seiya/Knights of the Zodiac (semi-confirmed by DiC)
Zoids Season Three (confirmed by Hasbro)
Dragon Ball GT (not confirmed by anybody, but COME ON! it's a given)
That's all. For now.

i don't think Thundercats is anime either, i was just saying that some people considere it, like they conisder G1 Transformers anime. which it isn't either, i agree.
