Are they cheaper?
The old ones are $16......

Are they the same amount of pages as the other editions?

Yep, they're cheaper, available at about $8-$9. No one can seem to agree on the exact price, but it is known that they'll be at or less than $10, similar to Tokyopop's graphic novels.

Thank God! $16 for a g.n is quite pricey!

Maybe, but they were still pretty good. I actually prefer the larger size of Viz's GNs to Tokyopop's smaller sizes. Still, the price cut does help our wallets stop crying that much.

So it's confirmed that these are going to be the smaller size? Great! I actually like the size, since they're easier to carry around and are closer to the size of the actual Japanese graphic manga (meaning there's less distortion in the artwork :p ). I knew they were re-releasing the Dragon Ball graphic novels like this, but Inu-Yasha too? Are they doing this for all their titles?

I don't know if it's for all of their titles, but quite a few have been confirmed for the rereleases, including:

- "The Big O" (the first volume)
- "X/1999"
- "Ranma 1/2"
- "Gundam Wing: Blind Target" (not sure about other Viz GW novels, but very likely they will be)
- "Dragonball" and "Dragonball Z" (unflipped, of course)

More should follow, including "Fushigi Yuugi", "Maison Ikkoku", and so on. Look forward to them.

Smaller as in the size of the book, or smaller as in less pages?

Smaller as in the size of the book. The number of pages will remain the same.
