*Tips cowgirl hat*
Yo! I was reading in some of the other forums and I noticed a lot of people had questions about Kuroneko.
So who is Kuroneko?
Kuroneko is the mysterious little black cat that appears in every episode.
So why is he there?
Kuroneko-sama is one of Yasuhiro Nightow's, the creator of Trigun, first creations. Kuronkeo doesn't really serve a purpose other than to lighten up moments (and drive people nuts who can't find him in all the episodes!).
I guess that's all I have to say but I noticed some people were lost when it came to this enigma. I guess if anyone actually reads this then they can help each other find that darn cat in all the episodes.
So far Kuroneko has appeared -
1. Sitting on a table as Milly and Meryl enter the room
2. Being dragged across the screen on a leash (My favorite moment!)
Peace, Love, and Chicken Grease!

So, Kurenko never has any real kind of purpose except as an in-joke? Well, at least it's a pretty funny in-joke, but does it really get as annoying as you say it does?

Annoying? NEVER! I just drove me into an obesses madness when I couldn't find him. . . ~^_^~
Kuroneko is really quite a funny little character who really lightens the mood up in some pretty shady and dark scenes.

So that's what that cat's all about. I own Trigun on DVD, but it's been so long since I watched them, that I am able to enjoy them on AS. Now I can look for that cat as well! Right on!

Well, having downloaded the OP and having seen 3 eps on AS, my current score is 4/5. I missed him meowing at the moon in ep 3.
