My fake schedule was better because it was more believable.
11:00 - Futurama
11:30 - Family Guy
12:00 - Home Movies
12:30 - ATHF/Brak/SGC2C/Birdman/Sealab
12-1 - Random shows depending on the day of the week, no anime included

why are we talking like this?
heh, starting to get used to the April Fools stuff now... Why do internet news sites get into this holiday so much? ;)

Also, the grids didn't include May 26th-June 1st... I guess this is the new trend, and I'm not that fond of it.

Possibly not to ruin it for those that think Berserk is really coming in May.

because we work all year to provide news and a community and we deserve a fun day for a change. :moon2:

April Fools Day can rot in hell. You tricked me into thinking there would be new episodes of Birdman in May!
On a serious note, why haven't the grids on CN.com been updated? Maybe next week? I can't wait to see what actually comes in May.

The legit schedule will probably be available tomorrow.

Wouldn't it be wierd if the schedule turned out to be that exact one?

Excellent April Fools Joke if I say so myself. Believable too. I was getting really excited about new Space Ghost, Lupin, and ATHF. The thing that gave it away for me was Berserk. We would have heard about it by now if it was acquired. I just hope they really DO have new Lupin, Birdman and Space Ghost next month.
Ahhh...April Fools Day, an asinine holiday but a fun one.

You know, the first week actually looks fairly believable, but you probably could of made it look at least a little more realisitic if you moved the times to 10:00 or something. The chances of Adult Swim even being at 9 are as good as the chances as Adult Swim ever airing the Simpsons. (Yeah, I made that point already in the Family Guy thread a few weeks ago. It's still valid).

Although, if it were on at 9, your time, then it would be on at 8, my time.
Pacific time would make it come on at 7......

afd pranks aside, having Sealab and Aqua Teens (in order) on weeknights is a really good idea
and new episodes too, of course. but we all know that that's asking WAY too much

yes. but apparently every other site does too. we expect you to eventually realize (if you already haven't) why this stuff seems so unrealistic.

Berserk I can understand, but Uncut-Looney Tunes?
Killtacular
04-01-2003, 07:03 PM
The uncut Looney Tunes that I'm thinking of would only be viewed by adults, in the correct context. Kids wouldn't care. And the wrong people would probably be offended by what the uncut looney tunes have in them.

I forgot about Uncut Looney Toons. That'd be an awesome idea.

Could you give an example?

You know, we have an entire FORUM of adults who love Looney Tunes, as well as a website listing all of the edits CN, Nick, WB, and ABC have made to them. Why don't you ask in the Termite Terrace board? (right now it's the Baby Looney Tunes board for 4/1 joke) They'd give you a better answer than I.

Even thouigh it's fake, that's pretty convincing. Too bad Berserk gave it all away.

I'd say that Berserk's more likely than 9 PM.

That too. Plus Matt's "Man I am bored" was a bit foreshadowy.

The first week was pretty believable. I mean I wouldnt be surprised if either Lupin or Inu-Yashu returned in May (Probably Lupin).

I personally wouldn't mind seeing a Sealab called "Gangs of New Chicago", or an ATHF named "Escape from Liver Island".

Actually, I almost thought that Berserk could be real. But the "Homestar Runner Show" special was what tipped me off.
Too bad...that would be a great schedule...

Gotta agree there, that would be great, but it would make me have to work too much
