Anyone live by a motto? Do they have a motto that best fits their approach to life? Do they have a family motto? Just wondered if people have these anymore..

A motto is a saying...something like "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again"

I have two:

"What matters most is how well you walk through the fire." - Charles Bukowski

"Regardless of warnings, the future doesn't scare me at all." - Hikaru Utada

But my favorite?

"Don't worry, nobody dies a virgin. Life screws us ALL." - Don Tran, a friend of mine

Hmmm...I don't have a motto, slogan, or fanmous saying; most of the stuff I ever say is a rip off from the Simpsons or something.

Comprende?

Exxxxcellent. :)

-Live your life one day at a time. If you try to live more than that, the week will be over before you know it.
-Sarcasm helps keep you from telling people what you really think of them.
-Honesty is the best policy, but insanity is a better defense.
-If at first you don't succeed, redefine success.
-Never put off till tomorrow what you can avoid altogether.
-Nothing is as easy as it looks.
-Everything takes longer than you think.
-No one can draw a clear line between sane and insane. You move that line as you see fit for yourself. No one else can. You'll understand soon... that the one that's insane is this world - Vincent Volaju, "Cowboy bebop - The Movie"

I probably have many that I try to go by, if I think about it. One came to mind. "It better to be early than late. If you are early, you can wait, but if you are late, the time is gone forever."
