Okay, it's been awhile since I've been here. And though I've been back a week I've avoided coming into this forum because I knew I'd see stuff that pissed me off. I don't like being pissed off, but when you're a mod you have to suck it up and deal with it.

I'm not going to say anything about all the political ranting here—not yet, anyway. But the France-bashing is going to stop. Now.

First, it is not fair to our French members. That should be obvious to everyone here, and I'm disappointed that it's not.

Second, it is one thing to dislike French government policy. It's another to turn that disagreement into hatred of France or of the French. It's as bad as turning "Bush bashing" into "America bashing." Do you think people who bash your country are acting like asses? Then don't make an ass of yourself by bashing other countries.

Tempers are hot. No surprise there. But that's no excuse to lose control of yourself or to say ugly things (http://forums.toonzone.net/showthread.php?s=&threadid=70291). Quite the contrary. That's the time you have to work hardest to keep yourself under control. It makes me very tired when we have to step in and start controlling you guys. But I think it's reached that point.
