Fun with titles

As we all know, most cartoon titles are parodies of titles of movies, books or songs or whatever (Like The Big Snooze is a parody of The Big Sleep). I think it would be fun to create some of our own cartoon titles. I'll start it off with a Tom and Jerry cartoon I'd like to call The Toms are A'Changin' after Bob Dylan's "The Times are A'Changin'". Does that sound like fun?

"The Object of My Purr-Fection"-A new love themed Tom and Jerry or Herman and Katnip cartoon.

"Nightmare on Elmer's Street"-A cartoon about Elmer Fudd accidently walking into a haunted house with Bugs, Daffy, Taz, and Porky dressed as monsters, and Elmer thinks they're real.

"Free Chili"-Wally Walrus owns a chili stand, and Woody Woodpecker tries to get some.

"Goon in 60 Seconds"-Popeye returns to Goonland.

*"Butt Hare". An anti-smoking cartoon featuring Bugs Bunny, which combines facts about tobacco use with the old grey hare's comic timing.

*"My Feral Lady". Pepe le Pew makes the mistake of attempting to seduce an anthill tiger (a miniature tiger that resembles an alley cat) and is repeatedly clawed to ribbons every time he tries to pitch a bit of woo.

*"Frozen Awful". A Chilly Willy cartoon, done in the Tex Avery style.

"Hare to the Chief": Bugs and Daffy both run for president of the United States, both playing dirty tricks galore. The winner turns out to be Ross Perot.

"Crispy Hare": Bugs gets revenge on a cooking show host for cooking his cousin.

"Hare Die": Bugs pretends to be dead to help Elmer win a hunting contest

"World's Funniest": Super Rabbit and Bat-Duck team up to fight "Wex Wuthor - millionaire. I own a mansion and a yacht."


"The Black Duck": "Heroic" pirate Daffy Duck and first mate Porky Pig battle Pirate Sam for his stolen treasure, which Daffy just wants all for himself.

"Who Let the Hogs Out?" Policeman Porky tries to catch his evil twin (from "Porky's Double Trouble")

"Babbit and Catsello Meet Sylvester": Sylvester battles Babbit and Catsello over Tweety.

"Match Made in Heaven": Penelope commits suicide to escape Pepe, but so does Pepe, who chases her in Heaven.

"Call of the Wile": Wile E. Coyote becomes a werewolf when there's a full moon.

"The Return of Speedy Gonzales": Speedy goes to AOL/Time Warner and demands a comeback.

"It's a Looney, Looney World": Various Looney Tunes race for a million dollars, all resorting to the dirtiest schemes. Racers are Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Elmer Fudd, Tweety, Sylvester, Pepe le Pew, Yosemite Sam, Road Runner, Wile E. Coyote, Foghorn Leghorn, Speedy Gonzales, Taz, and Marvin the Martian. Also starring Petunia Pig, Sylvester Jr., Penelope, Henry Hawk, Slowpoke Rodriguez, and K-9. Guest appearances by Michigan J. Frog, Gossamer, the Goofy Gophers, the Three Bears, Beaky Buzzard, Charlie Dog, Marc Anthony, Pussyfoot, Claude Cat, Cecil Turtle, Rocky and Mugsy, Spike and Chester, Hubie and Bertie, Pete Puma, Witch Hazel, Playboy Penguin, the Crusher, Hassaan, Hippety Hopper, the Barnyard Dog, Miss Prissy, Cool Cat, Bunny and Claude, Sniffles, Inki, Buddy, and Bosko.

Actually, this was done in an episode of The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries ("Ice Cat-pades").

Okay, a few more:
*"Hare and Share Alike". Two of cartoondom's classic dumb characters, Beaky Buzzard and Pete Puma, both have their hearts set on Bugs.
*"Foggy Lenses". Foghorn Leghorn needs glasses (though he won't admit it)...and when he finally breaks down and gets some, Barnyard Dawg decides to have a little fun with ol' four-eyes Foggy.
*"Panda Ring". Andy Panda plans to marry his girlfriend, but he's too broke to afford a good engagement ring. Enter sleazy conman Buzz Buzzard, looking to unload some hot ice from a robbery at Piffleny's till the heat's off....
*"To Fur, with Love". Concerned that his son isn't getting a proper education in mouse-catching, Sylvester enlists the help of a certain "Professor" Dodsworth, who promises to teach students how to catch "the big 'un". Unbeknownst to him, a baby kangaroo en route to an animal preserve just hopped off a freight train....

There's Something About Jerry...-One day, Tom looks into Jerry's hole, finding out that he's an evil leader, planning to getting rid of all the cats in the world. Jerry tries everything to do away with Tom, but no avail...

Hush Hour-Wally Walrus tries to get some sleep, but his neighbors Woody Woodpecker and Andy Panda make noise all night, with their loud music and crank calls.

The Hare-Devil-Bugs and Yosemite Sam compete each other in circus acts, and Sam tries to kill Bugs and make it look like an accident, and become the star.

Duck, Duck, Moose-Donald Duck and Pluto go moose hunting.

BLACK MARKET BUNNY - Bugs Bunny travels to South America where poacher Yosemite Sam is selling endangered animal skins.

MICKEY'S ARABIAN ADVENTURE - A remake of the 1932 short MICKEY IN ARABIA. Mickey and Minnie are news reporters who travel to Afghanistan to report on the recent terrorist attacks. Minnie is captured by Bin Laden and Mickey must rescue her.

The Mafia Mouse - This short would feature Mighty Mouse discovering a mafia hangout. After some strategies to catch them, he finally turns them in.

A casino is built over Bugs' rabbit hole, and when he emerges he gets into a confrontation with the casino's owners, Rocky and Mugsy. The gangsters seek to throw the rabbit out, which leads to a chase all through the casino
