It seems that CN decided to air 8 instead of 19....

im confused. im actually a first time watcher to bebop(i started with episode 1 in the current rotation), but i want to see all the eps in order...so i refuse to watch my session 20 tape until 19 airs...whats going on!?! did cn screw up?? and are they planning on fixing it?? whats the deal?
Thanks to anyone who can help me. i'm obviously a bit flustered, but dont hold it against me...especially since youve all seen bebop more times than you care to have seen it. hehe.

19 had the shuttle columbia in it thus it was skipped. And the date it would air again is March 31st, when people think it wont be on the air anymore.

19 is a stand alone, so you can watch 20 without worrying.

The episode basically tells you the history of Spike's ship, the Swordfish....that's about it.

If they run Cowboy Bebop again, they will show that episode. It's just too soon right now.

Columbia = in #18
Columbia = Non existant.
Cartoon Network = PC

That was just confusing...

Yes, they switched to an older episode to avoid the Columbia shuttle reference (which focused heavily on a CRASH LANDING). They could have just skipped it, but that would have screwed up the entire schedule.
It'll avoid controversy, and they've shown the episode a million times before, and it's probably the worst episode of the series... so I think they made the right decision.
