If you remember almost a year ago, I had a topic where my cat, Ricky, had her collar stuck to the bottom of her jaw when she was yawning. I raced over and I had to quickly get it off, she started to bleed and I had to act fast. I eventually got it off, and she didn't have a clollar for about a month.

Two days ago, we let Ricky outside because she wanted too. Well, a few hours went by and my mom worried where she went. She usually never stays out long. I thought she was just down at a neighbors house where she has a lot of cats too. Well on Monday, she still wasn't back and I started to get worried. I put on some outdoor clothes and I walked down and up my street calling for her. I got back to my house a little worried. I went behind my house and called her name again. It was then that I heard a faint meow. I looked over in the woods and I went over there. I finally realized that she was under the shed, and she couldn't get out. So I quickly tryed to dig up the ground and get her out. After an hour I thought I made the hole big enough and my muscles hurt like heck. I grabbed hold of her but she was too frightened to come out. I kept on calling her to come out but it didn't do a thing. So I left some food out and went inside to warm up and get off my dirty clothes. When my dad got home, he stood in the driveway and called her name. She immediately poked her head out and ran in the house :D, I can't believe that cat. Now she's a happy warm cat and hasn't gone outside yet.

What would she do without me? :)

Geez, suicidal kitty. That cat has it in for itself. Either that, or it's really clumsy. In either case, it's very lucky to have you.

That she is. Maybe you should just keep her inside from now on and cary her down to the neighbors house every once in a while to play. ;)

I'm glad your cat is safe. You might want to keep your her inside from now on, thats what I do with my two furry bundels of joy.

Good job! :D You just dug with your hands? Impressive.

I wonder how that kitty got under there to start with. Them cats are always doing something weird and kooky like that. :p

Thanks guys and it's safe to say that my cat doesn't feel like going out anymore. I hope she doesn't pull those kind of stunts again.

1500th post, yay :)

Domesticated cat. No natural survival instincts left whatsoever.
