1600th Post Special: Man killed by his cock!

Well after 1600 posts at TZ I figure it's time for me to share a weird story with you. Thanks to News of the Weird (http://www.newsoftheweird.com/archive/nw030209.html) for the article :D A cockfight handler, about to release his rooster into the ring to do battle, with both birds outfitted with razor-sharp steel spikes on their legs, was killed when the rooster slashed the man's thigh and groin, causing him to bleed to death (Zamboanga, Philippines, January). What did you think I was talking about you dirty-minded people? :moon2:

You know, it's kind of funny that people continue to come of with embarassing ways to die, but I'm sure as long as there are stupid people in the world, there will be stupid deaths. Oh well.

Anyone have a better stupid death story than this? feel free to post it here.

Cockfighting is actually resembles Pokemon in a way. The trainers raise the fighters in the same way Pokemon trainers train their Pokemon.

Anyway, it's not like he DESERVED to die for running a cock-fighting ring, but it is justice, in a way. I don't see why those cockfight games are so entertaining; I saw one from a distance while in Mexico once, and I thought it was disturbing and disgusting.

Anyways, he deserved it. Making those poor roosters fight to the death. I don't understand why some people don't think that it's cruel to put two animals in a ring and make them kill eachother.
