Man, I remember when I first played SA1 for the first time at the local mall....the graphics and the gameplay were so phenomenal....and don't get me started on the shock I had when I raced against the whale! The music was also some of the best I heard in a LOOONNGGG time...

And it only gets better. Play through EVERYBODY and you'll see what I mean... :)

Yep, Sonic then becomes the legendary Super Sayia-jin....Err, Super Sonic.

phew..two years old..a-mazin'.

I remember the first board as well..but, my favorite boards on Sonic 1 were:

Windy Valle (the one w/ the big tornado), and Speed Highway..great boards

and on Sonic 2...just about every sonic and shadow boards..

I haven't built up a big library of Dreamcast games..but I want to..I still want quite a few games...

...but the Dreamcast won't live to see three. Dammit.

Yeah, I've been addicted to the Sonic and Shadow levels on SA2... the speed is just right and the music is great. I got a bunch of friends addicted to it... they all started screaming when the giant truck came barreling after Sonic in the first level.

Yeah, I really liked the music when Super Sonic and Shadow are fighting the FinalHazard. SA2 was one of the best games I had ever played.........

There's still one gift for you Dreamcast loyalists to recieve. You like to share the wealth with the DC? Well you've started already, cuz you guys got ME to buy one, and it was the best thing I've ever done. Me, my Marvel vs. Capcom 1&2 and my Interact Alloy Arcade stick are even better than I used to be with my MvC back on Playstation.

Anyway, further my initiation into the world of DC loyal and answer me this. Can Sonic turn Super Sonic in Sonic Adventure 2? That was my favorite part of Sonic 2 for Genesis. If it's only a feature of the first game I'll just have to get both then huh? :p

Yes, you just have to finish the Hero and Dark side storys, then at the end of "Last" Sonic and Shadow turn Super to fight the FinalHazard.

You can also turn Super in SA1 by beating the game with all the chacacters.

Man, the level FINAL RUSH, where Sonic and Shadow race to the Eclipse Cannon, was perfect. The rush....the music...the intesnity...my gosh, it was perfect. Yes, SA2 was one of the best games I played as well....I will fondly remember it. And how many of you remember fighting Perfect Chaos for the first time? I did, and man, it was a rush as well!
...Though I bawled when I went through part 2 of battling him...he was hard there!

But Super Sonic and Super Shadow were too easy...I like to play as regular Shadow against Biolizard. Must better challenge.

The Dreamcast lived only two years...WAAHHH!! Why couldn't Sega have faith in this thing? Oh, well, at least Sega's noticible in the market once more.

That settles it then. Sonic A2 is pretty much as good as mine, as my next DC instalment. You think you guys could further the wealth sharing and give me a list of games equally as desireable? What would you scream at a new DC user to get?

Really? I had no problems with Perfect Cell....Err, Perfect Chaos at all.:) It was quite a rush though.

But Super Sonic and Super Shadow were too easy

Wow, I had some problem's with fighting the FinalHazard/Biolizard. I kinda liked just floating around listening to the music.:) After awhile a fire appeared in front of the monster, aparently everybody saying you only had 4 minutes to stop the FinalHazard wasn't just stage talk. I suprised me greatly when it happened.

I never even finished SA2 yet...the last chapter is a pain...oh how I hate the boards with Rogue and Knuckles... (but they were worth playing to get to the other boards)...

anyway..I suggest you get "Tony Hawk's Pro Skater" for Dreamcast Nightwing. It's only $10 at Target...

I hear Soul Calibur is good too (I haven't bought it yet..want to though)

Sega Smash Pack, Vol.1 contains alot of "old school" type games..I still wanna buy that..they say it's good too..

and only if your a SW fan, Jedi Power Battles is good. I really love it myself...good good game..

I'm thinking about buying a Dreamcast, but what's holding me back is the game selection. From what I've seen, it doesn't appear very good. Besides Capcom's fighting games and the Sonic games, what other games are considered great?

well..according to video game magazines, Dreamcast has a larger library of games than Nintendo64.

And if you go to a used store, or GameStop.com you'll find all kinds of games. And go to DreamCast.IGN.Com and read reviews of games. They are usually pretty accurate at grading, so I trust them alot.

That makes sense. But I'm referring to a lack of big name titles. I checked out the ign site, which is pretty good. There definitely appear to be a lot of solid games. But nothing really stands out to me.

I really want a great wrestling game, which DC doesn't seem to have. I'd also love to see a game on the level of PS2's Twisted Metal Black. DC has the vigilante 8 games, but I've got that for PS. And Star Wars Demolition sounds disappointing. The other type of game I like a lot are the kart racing games, but DC doesn't appear to have anything that's on par with Mario Kart or Crash Team Racing.

I know I can count on the NFL2k games, as well as the Capcom fighters, but that's not enough of a reason for me to buy the DC. I'm thinking I might just spend money on my computer to get more memory and maybe a graphics card and controller. I've got Unreal Tournament, which runs on my computer, but its takes awhile to load and is sluggish at times. I probably need more memory to fix that. If that's not too expensive, I'll probably just get more PC games.

In terms of games? I'm not a huge gamer, so I basically look to buy a select few that capture my interest and have great playbility/replayability. To be honest, a lot of the games that have really caught my attention are PS2 games, but the expense would be too great for me to get the system. Specifically, Twisted Metal Black, Smackdown 3, and the Madden games on PS2 have really stood out to me.

I'm actually strongly considering the GB Advance, because it's got a lot of strong releases already and the potential for future great games seems pretty high. They've got Mario Kart and Castlevania already, and both sound great. The problem is that I'll basically only be able to play one-player, since I doubt I'll find anybody else that also has an Advance to play multi-player regularly.

Since I've already got a pretty good computer, I figured it might be in my best interest to beef it up a little, instead of buying a game system.
