It's that time again..........well, it's one of those times again. This time though it's new Inuyasha time. So time for, um....ahem. Episode list:
1/20 - "Lake of the Evil Water God" [27]
1/21 - "Miroku Falls into a Dangerous Trap" [28]
1/22 - "Sango's Suffering and Kohaku's Life" [29]
1/23 - "Tetsusaiga is Stolen! Showdown at Naraku's Castle" [30]
At least with Lupin I don't have to type as much.

Why did you put continued in the title again? It should simply be Inuyasha. Same with Lupin III....why must you also add in series 2? But yet Futurama is always Futurama. Everyone just has to treat anime differently eh.

01-20-2003, 11:24 PM
I wasn't gonna say anything about that until I read your post, Achika. I kinda looked at it and wondered why it said "continued". And it's not like the first Lupin series is coming out on Swim also and we're in danger of confusing the two... :)

Well, aren't we anal tonight.
I put continued in because we're still going from the new episodes that used to run weekly. Not like I can say "Season Two" or anything since that would technically be incorrect. I figured at least 2 weeks notice would get people acquainted with how the new scheduling works.

Yeah I am anal for perfection. I wonder what happened to Lupin's credits tonight? Ah, no time to ponder that as Inuyasha is now on!

I think this is one of the worst filler episodes of IY. It was a very generic plot (we've already seen demon imposters) and I couldn't really pay attention throughout. Meh.
A great ep for Inu Yasha today.
It had humour(general and perverse), action, and drama, and executed them flawlessly.
Each character was exciting, except for Shippo and Kagome who didn't get that much attention in this ep.
This is more of a Sango-Inu Yasha plus Miroku ep.
Miroku continues to entertain us with his perverted view and guile... especially his "It would be the first for me, but I'm certainly willing to give it a try" line.
Sango is quite a serious young woman, isn't she? Not only that, she's very bold and brave herself, actually.
And Inu Yasha...being his usual immature, arrogant, kinda idiotic attitude...classic Inu Yasha...
Although today's ep was a filler, it was a really great filler nonetheless.
5/5 for today's ep.

Yuck, what a negative word. There's no such thing as filler. There is always something going on.
Anyway, this was a good episode. The comedy here easily could of come right from Lupin the 3rd (this is a compliment, BTW). A good story with unique characters with some comedy in there and you have an entertaining episode. The series seems to get more and more entertaining as it goes along. Overall grade: B+

I screwed up recording this and lost five to seven minutes of this eppy. Crap crap crap crap....
Ques. I was under the impression "filler" episodes of anime referred to stuff that wasn't in the manga. Wasn't this one in the manga?

By the way, tonite's ep was great. (Monday). Does CN seriously not have syndication rights beyond episode 36ish?

So what is considered filler then?
We've even considered one of the eps for the hunts for the shards a filler. This time, almost nothing actually happened that contribute to the main story other than the fact that Sango gets to know the guys in the group better.
But, filler or no filler, a good ep is a good ep regardless.
And this IS a GOOD ep.

A "filler" episode for "Inu-Yasha" tonight, and one of the better ones, although it's not my favorite.
"Filler" is a dangerous term. Was tonight's episode really filler? Inu-Yasha did start to respect Sango and Miroku did start hitting on her, but they didn't find a jewel shard at all. Still, however you define "filler," the episode overall was quite entertaining, although its execution did feel a tad bit uneven. It did, however, have one major plus:
NO BLOODY FLASHBACKS!!!
'nuff said. I found it enjoyable, and that was good enough for me.
Script...dub...two words: great. I'm satisfied with the level the English version is at right now. Hopefully it won't be ruined by another Trishism any time soon.
Overall, a A-.

Monday: A pretty good episode of Inuyasha. Didn't have much story progression. Had some action here and there and comedy too.
My Grade: B

Monday: There wasn't a lot of movement in the plot with this episode but we did get to see some semi-clean action from our characters. Semi-clean as that Sango directly got to learn of Miroku's lecherous personality up front. But the scenes between the human sacrifices, demon tyranny, and the snake-like demon getting cut to pieces kind of reminds me of the first manga volume and anime episode in the series Berserk. (Not any intent to bash Inuyasha.)
Anyone who has seen Berserk should be able to see some resemblance with this episode of Inuyasha. Even Sango's character appears to almost match that of Gattsu's,.. at least from what I've seen so far. In all, this episode of Inuyasha appears to be a needed movement in character development between Sango and the others.

Filler or not, I still found the episode, like all IY episodes, immensely entertaining. The show isn't among the best I've seen, I wouldn't rank it in my top 10, but to this point there still hasnt' been an episode I haven't enjoyed. Thats pretty damn good.

Great episode. Lots of action and laughs (i.e. Miroku shows his true colors to Sango and the water goddess, hehehe...., and Inuyasha beating up on the kid was good too...). I also second what someone said earlier, there were none of Sango's flashbacks, yeah! That's why I love this episode, because I got a break from that. I know they'll be back soon, but at least I got a breather tonight! :D
Looking forward to tomarrow, though I feel sorry for the beating Miroku looks like he's gonna get. His is a leacher and a pervert, but he's still one of the good guys, I guess....

I really loved this "filler" episode. They needed to slaughter a bad guy instead of being beat on. And they certainly tore that guy up.
And the truth was that that I wasn't paying much attention, Lupin had completely lost my attention, but Inuyasha beating on the kid caught my attention and the rest kept it.

Pretty enjoyable ep, aside from being a filler ep, I was half awake, but I still had some chuckels, like Inu beating on the kid and Miroku hitting on Sango (I'm to assume from his comment about the Goddess that he has had sex before?)
someone mind letting me in on what's up with Sesshomaru in the ending credits, what's up with that Dragon looking thing and the shard that binds it to that massive ree. What's he dealing with (obviously I'm asking for spoilers here so plaese be kind and put it in a soiler box for the others)

The dragon is Ryuukoytsusei, the mortal enemy of Sesshomaru and Inuyasha's father. Ryuukoytsusei mortally wounded the dad in return he used his fang to seal Ryuukoytsusei. You'll have to wait until episodes 53 and 54 to see him and to see Inuyasha beat him with Tetsusiaga's Ultimate Attack: Bakuryuuha (means Exploding Style)

Monday- Excellent episode. I have the manga for this one, and I must say it stuck very close. Nothing was really cut, if the anime has the same gore (etc.,) as the manga. It was a filler though, and I agree, I would like to see the story move on.

.:Inu Yasha - Lake of the Evil Water God:.
This was a pretty good episode, and the fight wasn't half bad either. However, the main point of this episode was to make Sango a member of the group..... and to show that Mirkou is defintely a lecher. Just wait till episode 41 with Koharu :rolleyes:It also showed that Inu Yasha actually, dare I say it, cares about Kagome more than the Shikon no Tama! Overall a great episode and I can't wait to see an episode of Miroku tonight........ now onto the particulars of the episode. This not not a filler episode by any means. If a filler episode to you is an episode that doesn't involve Shikon shards or Naraku then your gravely, gravely mistaken my friend: what would you say about episode 5 through 7, dealing with Sesshomaru and Tetsusaiga? Even the "filler" episodes are worth their salt since they usually deal with the enhancement of a character or relationships *coughKagome+InuYashacough* :D So basically, even if it is a "filler", it's still really good.

From this episode it's evident that Kagome is really quite powerful, but for some reason she isn't using the full extent of her abilities. I mean, she probably could have blasted the imposter water god with at least a few more arrows while he was incapcitated.
When does Kagome finally learn some new tricks? I assume that she is potentially as powerful as Kikyou.

Wow, that's really far out of order.
From this episode it's evident that Kagome is really quite powerful, but for some reason she isn't using the full extent of her abilities. I mean, she probably could have blasted the imposter water god with at least a few more arrows while he was incapcitated.
I believe "Peach man" was where we first see Kagome's powers with her arrows in the manga, which is why she isn't suprised in this episode that her mere arrow blew off the water god's freaking hand. So that's pretty screwy for it to be so far out too, because of that plot point. Maybe they thought they needed to wait for further progression of the story until Inuyasha could see Kagome naked
But my bet is that the director is a doofus. First he says he dosen't like to tell love stories (he said "can't" but that's a load of bull since all he had to do was take the dialouge from the manga) Anyone know what happened with him getting fired at episode 44?

Calling any episode "filler" around here is dangerous, so I won't even try.
Today's episode was a great character development episode...at least in establishing Miroku's background and letting everyone know that his problem is very serious. Inu-Yasha acts all high and mighty, but you can tell he's got a soft spot for his *gasp* friends. Kagome didn't really play that big a part today, but then again it's nice to shift the spotlight occasionally. Shippo...useless, as usual. But he's the token kawaii guy, so he's not all that bad. And Sango had a very important job today: she proved CN isn't afraid to show a young girl's ass being squeezed (not nudged like Kagome's but squeezed!). If I had one complaint, it's that the sound felt somewhat muffled and unbalanced, but that's to be expected.
Overall, A.

Tuesday: Naraku is proven further to be a formidable enemy within this episode even though Naraku made no appearance. As Naraku utilizes intel on team Inuyasha, Naraku exploits Miroku's greatest weakness. In the end this sets up a time limit to the plot for Miroku to resolve the removal of his Wind Tunnel curse through Naraku's will or Naraku's death to prevent Miroku's own accelerated demise.
Inuyasha however due to today's battle experience, has finally mastered the true potential of the Tetsusaiga as demonstrated long before by Sesshomaru. An needed achievement I feel should team Inuyasha have to directly break through Naraku's army of human and demon defenses.

His not a racoon his a tanuki. His Miroku's servant.
The Tanuki is also known as the Raccoon Dog because of the fact that they look like Raccoons. They are known for their large balls and their statues are very popular outside of restraunts. Rumiko Takahashi must like Tanuki statues because she uses a lot of them in Ranma 1/2.
The Tanuki of legend is very much like the Fox(Kitsune), like the Kitsune Tanuki's are masters of Disuguise and use a leaf for their spells. They also beat their balls like a drum.

Last night's episode was so so, not great not bad. I was disappionted as far as Miroku's fight scenes. For the most part, he seemed content to sit there and die, with no attempt to fight back... that is until the gang showed up. Sure, I know he was drugged, but come on...
But the funny parts evened things out, though. I love the swirly eyed Inuyasha and the whole "Miroku's bloodline should be feared" thing, that was priceless! He about dies and then pulls that stunt, Sango had grounds to finish him off. But it was good none the less. And it was nice to hear a little about Miroku's past...
One question though, was there a jewel shard? I remember the old monk saying something about one when he was possessed and Miroku tried to use his wind tunnel, but I never saw one.

.:Inu Yasha - Miroku Falls Into A Dangerous Trap:.
Oh me, oh my, an episode dedicated to my favorite, lecherous monk. Great episode filled with a decent amount of action and comedy, just how I like it. Favorite moments was when Miroku sighed when he realized the princess was a really a demon is gisguise and remarked about it being "too good to be true" :p I also thought it was pretty nice seeing that everyone, even Inu Yasha, liked Miroku and didn't want him to leave. For all the new Inu fans this was a good episode because you got to learn even more about Miroku like his father, Tanuki, and Mushin. Now, onto the two best parts: we got a quick glimpse of THE key technique to mastering the Tetsusaiga, and I can't wait till we get to see him use that technique. And now the other best part: Miroku groped Sango's ass. Ahh, how sweet young love is, lol. And this is for all you who wanted to see it:

Correct, but not entirely. I've compared the artwork of the Japanese covers to the American ones, and they're slightly different. Apparently, Viz uses the exact same poses on each cover but shifts the character's positions and sizes. For example: Kagome is in the foreground with a smaller Inuyasha behind her on the Japanese cover, but on the American one Kagome is in the background with a towering Inuyasha in the foreground.

monday night:
a great filler episode that allowed sango to blend in with the inuyasha "team"...miroku was beyond hilarious, and it was his actions here that makes him my official favorite inuyasha character thus far (surpassing the dog demon himself): A
tuesday night:
...so what better way to celebrate my favorite character than by having an episode devoted to him? miroku shines from the first minute in all the way to the hilarious last few seconds of this episode, and inuyasha's newfound ability with his sword should make the upcoming battle with naraku that much more interesting: A-

Now I see why Miroku wasn't such a good priest. I could see where he got his influence from. His old teacher that's suppose to teach him "the ways of the priest" sure was a drunkard. Nice little touch on Miroku's behavior.
Inuyasha sure is caring more about his teammates. Just goes to show you what happens when you have a companion along for a few months. A bond happens.
I like the girls' expressions when Miroku came back from his "womanizing". It just goes to show you how much they knew about Miroku.
Nice little history lesson of the wind tunnel and what happened to Miroku's father. Now we're gonna see tons of flashbacks on this event.

Naraku is the source of Miroku's curse. Once Naraku is destroyed, Miroku's wind tunnel will disappear. Of course, that doesn't mean he would abandon his friends if there are still more shards of the jewel to be collected. But then again this depends on certain circumstances that only Takahashi can determine and realize.

A character development episode tonight, and boy, does it deliver!
So Naraku is now using Kohaku to manipulate Sango into stealing the Tetsusaiga. That guy really is a bastard...but a cunning one. He certainly knows how to pull other people's strings. And while there were some flashbacks, at least they weren't those tediously repeated ones from before. This episode played out beautifully. Everything - story, pacing, dub, script - just fell into place. It makes me anxious for tomorrow's episode. Thank CN Adult Swim is now on weekdays.

I just wanted to add that those "next time on Inuyasha" segments (are those called bumpers?) are great. Sometimes I'll end up liking those more than the episode.
I agree that it's a downer when the episode suddenly ends. However, knowing that the next episode airs tomorrow and by showing those end segments brings me right up. Plus you have Kagome saying "See you soon" and this time actually meaning it.

Wednesday: The plot yet again sprouts out another branch as Kohaku returns as Naraku's servant while Naraku claims the deletion of Kohaku's memory of his friends and family before Sango. And with Naraku's order for Sango to present the Tetsusaiga to him or else witness the termination of Kohaku's life, brings the inevitable battle confrontation between team Inuyasha and Naraku even closer together.
I believe however that Naraku has other plans for the Tetsusaiga other than seeing the removal of it from team Inuyasha. Since Naraku would be unable to personally wield the Tetsusaiga, I would expect Naraku to use someone in his control or allegiance who can. This however may not come to light if Sango does not give into Naraku's primary demand.

Well...
Naraku is actually a half-demon as well, so hypothetically, he could probably weild the blade, although he never shows in interest in doing so. He strikes me as the type of person that's more interested in his own personal strength and the manipulation of others than sheer outside strength.

Inuyasha: Figures. We didn't even do anything, and we get pain.
Miroku: Ah, but it was worth it. Such a beautiful view.
Hahahahaha. Well, I can't really blame them. Their intentions were noble, but they still get punishments. Although Miroku never regretted it.
Poor girls. They had to actually get Miroku distracted just for them to take a stinking bath.
Anyways, Kohaku coming back alive was nice twist. I knew it would happen sooner or later (After all, wouldn't reviving Sango's dead family be an interesting storyline?), but I didn't think it'd happen so fast. That makes things a tad more interesting.
And it looks like Sango's willing to steal the Tetsusaiga away from Inuyasha. Looks like there's some mutiny within the team.

So were there really no edits? It looked like they flattened Kagome's chest a few times... Once near the beginning of the scene, in a fairly far-away shot, and then when they discovered the monkey. Do we have confirmation?
All nudity aside, great episode. Things are just getting better and better... And although there was a very tight cliffhanger here, I think it was done better here than before. It wasn't really abrupt at all; it seemed to be skillfully done at the right point in the storyline to create tension. "What will Sango decide? Find out tomorrow night on... Inuyasha! After today's ep, I can't wait for the Inu team to kill that damn Naraku. That guy is just too much evil...not that I hate villains, but this guy is just too disgusting(figuratively speaking) to even live.
But of course, killing the guy would end the series...so I guess not then, but then he'll continue with his damned evil...confused here...
Naraku is just too evil that I was glad that he finally got what he deserves when his body got blown up by Kagome's arrow...hurray for Kagome. 2 eps with her being in the background and suddenly she's the one saving the team right now!
Poor Sango, why does Naraku continue torturing the poor girl, I mean Naraku already has tortured the living daylights of Inu Yasha and Miroku, what more does he want with Sango? Poor girl...

The four and final "Inu-Yasha" episode for the week was an outstanding one. It amplified Sango's pain and angst against the one who killed her family and friends and put her in a painstaking position. But she got by with a little help from her friends (*okay, okay, stop throwing things at me*) and in the end Naraku was defeated...or was he? He still lives and Kohaku is still in his control. He really is an insidious bastard. Who knows what evil he can come up with later on?
If I had one complaint tonight, it was some of Kagome's lines. The script writers try to hide the fact that Kagome doesn't swear, but some of their replacement lines are a little cheesy. Still, I did so enjoy the performances tonight, as well as everything else. Boy I love this show.

Thursday's episode: I definitely liked tonight's episode. I like how they teased if Sango would take Inuyasha's sword (I dare not try to spell the name of it) and later go into battle. I am also hating Naroku with his manipulations, yet I enjoy it as the show goes on since it brings out some depth to the characters (Kagome sure did tonight). One thing puzzled me though: How can Sango take all that physical punishment and still live??
Overall grade: B+

Nice way to end the block. Guess she just has a 21+2 Constitution giving her some resistance to physical damage-forget it...bad D&D joke.
Well, in a couple of eps earlier, Inu Yasha complained that Sango has been staying in bed for 10 days and Inu Yasha said he'll just be there for only 3 days while Miroku told Inu Yasha that he'll be there for a whole month to recover from such terrible wounds.
So do the math, and I guess we can say that Sango's endurance is much better than normal people - not as strong as a demon but close enough.

jesus christ.... Kagome's Japanese VA (the same VA of Akane from Ranma) is SOO much better. Sorry... in English Moneca Stori just doesn't seem like the type of person that fits to Kagome (especially when she is fighting..... or trying to be loud)... and I hated that speech of hers where she called Naraku a "total idiot"
Sango's English voice actor is amazing.. Kelly sheridan.. (ukyo from Ranma 1/2).. I wish she was Kagome.. in fact.. she sounds a lot like Kagome's japanese VA...
Or they could have just used Akane's English VA as Kagome... then it'd be similar because Inuyasha and Ranma would both have the same VA.. and Akane and Kagome would both have the same VA, in both English and Japanese.
Anyway.. the part where Sango was crying was really good. But for god's sake, i hope kikyo doesn't come back soon. she annoys the hell out of me (not her voice though, it's fine).

Thursday: These past few episodes were cunning enough to even throw me off track of Naraku's real plans. Surprisingly though it turned out that Kohaku revealed that he retained the memories of his friends and families. If this action never came to light, then there would have been a strong chance that Sango would've carried out the task of slaying her own brother, allowing Naraku's true plans to be set in motion.
Since Naraku had escaped while abducting Kohaku along with him, in a way kind of leaves the question if Naraku has any further use for Kohaku or if the abduction was due to the need to reclaim the jewel shard for other uses; which would certainly lead to Kohaku's death. But the chances are probably greater that Naraku will continue to utilize Kohaku as his pawn.
Sadly the castle though has fallen after the battle, leaving team Inuyasha with little knowledge as to where to now locate Naraku. But the true identity of Naraku however has now been revealed to team Inuyasha, allowing team Inuyasha to investigate any other known strongholds held by Naraku's empire; leaving team Inuyasha with a needle in a haystack.
The only complaint that I hold with this episode is that I feel the choice of background music used at the end of the episode kind of killed the mood between Sango and the rest of team Inuyasha. Other than that, I feel that this was still a good episode to watch.

You gotta remember something here. Onigumo was NOT a nice person to begin with and then he combined with all those youkai. Naraku as a result is practically one big ball of negative karma, and if you think he's pulled some stunts now, you ain't seen nuthin' yet. Personally, I think he's brilliant. He's one hell of a manipulator, and because he knows he hasn't got the ability yet to take on Inuyasha and the Tetsusaiga (hell, sometimes he has problems keeping his own body under control), he's wearing the Shikon gang down through his tricks.

Actually, Akane's Japanese seiyuu, Noriko Hidaka, voices Kikyo, not Kagome. Kagome's seiyuu in the Japanese version is Satsuki Yukino.

Surprisingly though it turned out that Kohaku revealed that he retained the memories of his friends and families. If this action never came to light, then there would have been a strong chance that Sango would've carried out the task of slaying her own brother, allowing Naraku's true plans to be set in motion. Actually no, if you really see it. After Sango said that she'll never harm her own brother, when she moved towards him it looked like she was ready for the worst (ie. she doesn't care is she gets killed by Kohaku). Luckily/coincidently, when Sango collapsed Kohaku returned to his senses.

But then after that Naraku had gotten very upset that Sango had brought Kohaku senses back, of coruse it also made Kagome go and attack Naraku head on with the arrows.
I hope I'm not spoiling all of you guys?

And that was a result following the scene where Kohaku tried to kill himself, revealing that Kohaku still retained the memories of his friends and families. Sango previously before that point believed Sango's body to be that of an empty shell without any essence of the original Kohaku. Therefore Sango portrayed the scenario as an disgrace to the fallen Kohaku.
If the resurrected Kohaku failed to reveal that he still had his memories and feelings to Sango, as I stated before, there would have been a strong chance that Sango would've carried out the task of slaying her own brother, allowing Naraku's true plans to be set in motion. Those plans being the further corruption of the Shikon Jewel shard.

Can someone please tell me what happened on IY last night I missed it? I mean I didn't think a short nap from 9:30 to 10:30 would turn into a short nap from 9:30 to 4:30. Please tell me I don't want to be out of the loop, I just want to know what happened. So can someone please tell me?

*blinks* Wow, Kagome kicked some ass.
...never though I'd open my comments on an episode with that. :p
Nice episode all around, but it seemed a little too sudden and rushed when Kohaku moved to try and remove the jewel shard at the beginning... Plus, I agree with what others have said about Kagome's dialogue not being the greatest before she wailed on Naraku. But I don't think it's the voice actor there, just the dialogue.
However, I've noticed it's only been since around Sango showed up that Kagome started carrying around a bow & some arrows constantly... and it's only since Sango's been around that Kagome's started lobbing enchanted arrows that are seriously damaging the enemies... am I to assume that the manga story the anime cut out deals with that? oO; Because it seems odd to be happening all of a sudden...
...and who would've thought Miroku could run that freaking fast?

Inuyasha wakes and is surprised to see Sango awake, she tells him that she couldn't sleep. Inuyasha tells Sango that he's going to kill Kohaku and he's sorry to. Sango denies that the boy was Kohaku. Inuyasha tells her that he understands her side. Kagome overhears this and assumes he is speaking from his experience with Kikyo. Miroku informs Inuyasha that they are surrounded. Outside, Kohaku approaches with an army of demons. Inuyasha attacks and kills a couple of demons, then Kohaku attacks Inuyasha. Inuyasha has the clear advantage. Kagome tells Inuyasha not to kill Kohaku, so he sticks Tetsusaiga in the ground and starts punching Kohaku. Kohaku tells Inuyasha to kill him for he deserves it for killing his father and the others (see episode 24). Kohaku takes his throw-sickle and stabs his back in order to remove the Shikon shard. Sango throws Hiraikotsu, it hits Tetsusaiga (breaking its transformation) and it lands close Sango. Sango picks it up. Kohaku then leaves on demon-back. Sango with Tetsusaiga in hand leaves on Kirara following after Kohaku. The two siblings disappear in a ball of light. Inuyasha can still smell Kohaku's blood, so the group takes off. At Naraku's castle, Sango approaches Naraku (after dropping Hiraikotsu upon his request) and he gets Tetsusaiga and attacks Sango, but she reveal that she had a blade attached to her wrists so she can fend off Naraku's attack. She manages to remove the baboon skin and much to her surprise she sees that Naraku is really the young lord, Hitomi Kagewaki (see episode 25). Kirara bites into Naraku's shoulder but as she does a poisonous is released breaking her transformation. Kohaku then appears in front of Sango. He attacks Sango, she is hit many times by his blade. Meanwhile, Inuyasha and the others arrive at the castle and rush in upon hearing Sango's screams. Sango falls to the ground. Hiraikotsu returns to her, she reaches for it. Naraku hopes that Sango will kill Kohaku bringing forth the beautiful glow of the corrupted Shikon no Tama. Sango just can't bring herself to do it. Kagome and the others arrive. Miroku realizes that Sango and Kohaku are like Inuyasha and Kikyo because Naraku tired to split them apart through hate. Naraku then traps them in a tornado of poisonous gas. Sango gives her gas mask to Kohaku to protect him. Kagome senses Naraku's shards and fires and arrow at him. The arrow becomes a Hama no Ya (literally means ‘Arrow that destroys evil') and breaks through the cyclone and hits Naraku. Naraku notices that Kagome's power is just like Kikyo's. She fires another arrow and it strikes Naraku in the chest. Naraku then disappears with his castle and Kohaku. Later on, Inuyasha and the others realize that castle must've been an illusion. Inuyasha retrieves Tetsusaiga. Sango tries getting up to leave, but she can't go far with her injuries. The gang tells her stay. Sango tells them that as long as Naraku has Kohaku she might do something like that again. Sango turns around breaks down and cries on Kagome's lap.

Holy crap, what a way to end this week's Inuyasha. We don't have that annoying cliffhanger that would've lingered on in my mind for 3 days, and we see how Naraku's cunning truely is.
Naraku should've died. Kagome should've killed him when she had the chance (she just didn't put enough energy onto her bows). Inuyasha was powerless in this episode, and Miroku, even less.
Sango should be pitied a lot. She was hoping that Kohaku could rest in peace, but instead, Naraku had to continue to torture that boy as long as Sango lives.
I'm truely hooked onto this series now. There's no way I could stop watching it.

Yep. Even though we will see the peachman story eventually in the anime, it'll be changed since we've already seen Kagome use enchanted arrows. And in the manga, she was able to shoot the enchanted arrows before meeting Sango. As for he carrying the bow and arrow, she got a special bow (which an ally sacrificed himself to create) and that's why she started keeping the bow and arrows with her.

Well, Kouga informs the kidnapped Kagome that he is going to use her ability to detect Shikon shards to take down the leader of bird demons (who has a Shikon shard) that is overtaking their territory. And Inuyasha and the others in their search for Kagome run into the bird demons of the Gokuraku tribe...

Thurs: This was a great ep, I truly feel for Sango, the poor girl has it rough, I'm sure Inu feels that he and she have a similar experience and feels sorry for her , not just wnateing her around cause "she's a good fighter"
since when in the Show has Kagome had magical arrows?
I didnt know Miroku could keep up with inuytasha whaile carrying Shippo on his back? he must be pretty fast for a human.

If they're ending the season on a huge cliffhanger, then they better show new episodes on AS later on this year. I pretty much spent most of my money on YYH DVD's and I can't afford to buy more Inuyasha DVD's just yet.
