Well with no new episodes airing, FUNimation is on their typical sell-as-many-unaired-episodes-as-possible kick. So here's their new, somewhat faster, YYH release schedule.....

Good, if they have cancelled the edited versions then that is a good sign that if new episodes ever do air they won't be on Toonami

Well, I just begin collecting Yu Yu on DVD, I just got Rescue Yukina which is good set of episodes. Right now I'm saving up money so I can get Volume 1-6, but I least I recored the episodes 1-21 when they 1st aired on Adult Swim to hold me over until I get the Dvds.

Am, I the only thinks The Toguro Brothers are bad asses?

You know you can buy the just released "Spirit Detective" boxset

I'm assuming that the next saga and Box Set will be from Volumes 8 to 14, since the Spirit Detective Set was 7 Volumes long. I think it would be released in July 2003 since Funimation seems to release DVDs in 2-month intervals.

I'm also glad that edited versions are being cancelled in a way because it was hard to distinguish uncut and edited versions when buying the DVDs.

The next boxset will probably be over 10 DVDs, unless they make it Dark Tournament part 1 and Dark Tournament part 2, which isn't really unlikely.

...Because having a Y7 edit being sold of a show on an adult block isn't exactly a good marketing plan. ;)
