I remember hearing that InuYasha volumes 3 and 4 will be released together on 2/4. But I can't find anyone selling them online, which seems odd considering they come out in about 18 days. From all the big DVD sites I checked, only DVD Planet has a pre-order for DVD #3. Amazon, Buy.com, Bestprices, DVD Empire, and even Viz's own site don't have any listings for Volumes 3 or 4, just the first two.
So does anyone happen to know if they are still planning on releasing both InuYasha Volume 3 and 4 on Feb 4th? Or were they pushed back and I missed the announcement?
Thanks in advance. :)

True Warrior Never Puts A Woman Before A Battle!
INUYASHA VOLUME 3 & 4 ON DVD IN FEBRUARY 2003!
SAN FRANCISCO, CA — October 28, 2002 — Viz Communications, Inc. today announced its February 2003 home video release of Inuyasha: Fathers and Sons and Inuyasha: The Thunder Brothers, based on the comic by manga great, Rumiko Takahashi. Currently airing on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim Action Block, Viz Video is proud to present the third and fourth volume of the series, both of which include 3 episodes each, with English or Japanese audio, optional subtitles, a scene-access menu and line art for $24.98 USA ($40.95 CAN).
Brothers in blood yet never in heart, Inuyasha and Sesshomaru square off in Inuyasha: Fathers and Sons, neither having ever been certain of their place in their father's affections. Elsewhere, a puffed-up, would-be prince imperils a pale and pretty princess. Lastly, it's stormy weather for Inuyasha and the others as a young magical fox, or kitsune named Shippo, enlists their aid in his battle against the terrible twosome, the aptly named "Thunder Brothers"....
Then, in Inuyasha: The Thunder Brothers, Inuyasha and Kagome's battle against the demonic Thunder Brothers, Hiten and Manten, continues and they find that the brothers' already awesome powers have been boosted even more by shards of the Shikon Jewel. Later, Kagome returns to present-day Japan, only to find herself in the middle of an eerie ghost story. Can Kagome save the lost soul of a little girl from being dragged into hell? Can Kagome do it alone?
Creator Rumiko Takahashi is the world's most popular female comic artist. Beginning her comics career under the tutelage of Kazuo Koike (Lone Wolf and Cub, Crying Freeman), her boy-meets-alien comedy series, Lum*Urusei Yatsura, began in Shônen Sunday and successfully ran for over nine years, selling over 22 million copies. With the success of Ranma 1/2, Takahashi's compiled works have sold over 100,000,000 copies (including Maison Ikkoku and Inu-Yasha). Her works have also provided the basis for three long-running animated TV series and over eight animated movies, almost all of which are available in the U.S through Viz Video.
NOTE, this topic may need to be moved to the DVD discussion later on.

Looks like the information in the press release was misleading, because they changed it to only one DVD in February.

I seem to remember a release Viz made concerning hostility over the limited number of episodes per DVD. They're response was something along the lines of "Well, fans can either have it this way, and get a DVD a month, or they can get one more episode on each, and only get a DVD every other month". Looks like the joke is on the fans after all...we get the worst of both worlds. Same number per disk, every other month.

Oh please. That's one more series. Pioneer and ADV and PLENTY OF OTHER COMPANIES Handle much more than that and give more episodes per disc and better quality overall. Poor Viz, too bad they're so incompetant.

It said that all of RT's combined works sold over 100 million issues.
You have to remember that RT has been making manga for over 20 years, and and all of her work have been incredibly successful.

Thank Jeffrey 228, my only problem with that article is that it's dated October 28th. Oh well, I guess we will have to just wait until Feb 4th and see what happens. Thanks. :)
