Futurama

I can't understand why this show has been "axed", when it moves to cartoon Network, does any one think new episodes will be made? I hope so ... because FOX never gave it a chance, from what i hear it was always pre-empted because of sport.

I doubt it... CN would have to stretch its usual budget quite a bit. It's not impossible, and maybe CN would take the risk, but Futurama is a little expensive for them to be producing new episodes.

And there's always the issue of shows being renewed after production is long over: How much of the original crew is willing to come back and would the show ever live up to the original? Futurama had great writing and so on. Ya know?

It is all in how well it does. The creator wants to keep going. So, it is now an issue similar to that of Big O. And so far, teh ratings seem to be good. Which means that we are in limbo on this subject.
