Woah. Obviously the director thought, “I’ve been toning things down too much. Let’s make tonight’s episode a bloodbath.” And boy they did. Monsters and people being severed in half, weapons and arrows protruding everywhere, blood and corpses all over the show…definitely one the bloodier episodes of “Inu-Yasha”. Still think this show could’ve survived on Toonami?
So, what did Viz remove to save your precious virgin eyes? Amazingly, nothing. You saw every dark bloodstain, every pierced corpse, every shredded carcass, every decapitated head…dang, it’s just unbelievable. Some of this stuff was more gruesome than the edited head of the Un-mother being smashed from episode five, and yet it all remained. Now this is a reason to stay up late to watch Adult Swim, is it not?
Anime v. Manga: Yay, the anime is sticking close to the manga again. Can’t recall any major or even minor changes today, as my collection of graphic novels is back home, but it did stick pretty close to the manga today.
Tomorrow, Sango goes into battle with Inu-Yasha. Can Inu-Yasha defeat Sango and expose Naraku’s sinister plot? Wait until tomorrow…tomorrow. I love saying that. Tomorrow.

With all these uncut episodes you may as well retire early. ^_^

In the manga Naraku himself did NOT participate in the village raid. He was still the cause, telling them the best fighters were gone, but he was never in the village.

Well that is the reason why there was a TV 14 V rating so it was perfect not to mention that is the most violance that I have seen in a long while yet it was all good they left it unedited.

Yay! I'm pretty impressed with everything we got to see tonight. Let's hope they keep on doing this. Can't wait for tomorrows episode.

Well it's good to hear there were no edits in Sango's episode and hopefully this will be the start of loosening editing standards.

It depends on what you mean by Naraku.

Well I'm still slightly not sure about that since there could be a few things in the upcomming episodes that may still need a bit of editing(nude scenes).

First of all, the so-called 'fan service' will definitely be out! Some digital airbrushing may make the eps viewable if Viz/Ocean Group can achieve it.
Second of all, we do have a new "Inuyasha" opening- A NEW LOUSY STINKING SLIGHTLY LONGER THAN PREVIOUS TOONAMI-STYLE OPENING!! LOUSY JERKS AT WILLIAMS STREET!!!
And to add insult to injury, now we have a LOUSY STINKING SHORT TOONAMI-STYLE OPEN FOR "Yu Yu Hakusho" INSTEAD OF THE REAL OPENING!!
Thankfully the genuine "Cowboy Bebop" opening is still around. BUT THAT'S NOT ENOUGH FOR VIEWERS OF THE WEEKNIGHT 'ASA' LINEUP!! WE WANT ALL THE GENUINE OPENINGS TO APPEAR, NOT JUST THE FAMED "Bebop"INTRO!!
And I guess that would go for those viewers who watch "Lupin III" at Midnight who suffer the harassment of a short disrespectful Toonami-style opening for that series as well. Of course, I'm watching "Timon & Pumbaa" on Toon Disney at that time, so "Lupin III" doesn't matter to me.
Sheesh! Naraku fools Sango into thinking Inuyasha had destroyed her village! That conniving furfaced creep!!! How repulsive!!   :bosko: :bubbles: :knd1:

Not to be offensive, but every post you've made lately is a repeative post about the Inu Yasha intro. Yes, we know it sucks, but as stated 25891 times before it was because of either time restraints or the need for more advertisements. You make it sound like they are Imperial red helmet guards that live just to make our lives a living Hell at every chance they get.
Also, what kind of fanservice scenes would they edit out?

Well don't forget that the Japanses Op's are also a reason that CN or America will not allow anyway.

I don't think this is one of the reasons. If you mean the whole Japanese language thing, then why did they let CB and Inu Yasha and Outlaw Star's outros remain?
As for the edits, I actually didn't notice how unedited the episode was. I watched it and enjoyed it and forgot to watch for edits. Which is the way anime on CN should be.

Maybe a solution to this ED/OP stuff would be to alternate. For example: one episode has the original OP w/ a shortened ending, the next the original ED and shortened opening, so on and so forth...

My theory on the loss of the OPs now is that they suck. There is absolutely no logical reason for cutting them now. Every common bond has been shredded, and it's obvious now that all OPs will be cut, with the possible exception of Bebop, although Bebop's loss can't be far ahead.

I know the feeling. Inuyasha, tomorrow, 4 times a week 4 nights a week. Not 2 on one night, but 4 nights. I love saying it and I love the fact that it's true even more. :)
