Adult Swim keeps getting better and better. I'm REALLY psyched about midnight now!

Yep, we've seen basically nothing from ASA's redesign, and I can't wait to see what it'll be like. The little Adult Swim logo at the end of the Lupin III and New ASA promos is obviously from the new look, but that's still not much to show us what it's going to be like... Any guesses?

Or maybe the design is the same as ASC, only with blue colors..

No, the designs are the same....so why are they advertising it as Adult Swim action if it looks the same as Adult Swim comedy? What's the point? Trippy. And who is that samarai supposed to be? At first I thought he was supposed to be the samarai from Lupin but on closer inspection he looks nothing like him.

ASA is now Toonami2.

Everything from the cruddy custom intros to the fact that the shows now end at 23/24 - 53/54 on the hour just like Toonami shows.

Well at the very least the shows themselves are good.

Usually a show ends at :35 and :55 of the hour. If a show ends at :33, they air an interstital. Which they've done for ASC, but not for ASA. There hasn't been interstitals during the Action shows.

That means one of two things:

1) Cartoon Network hasn't pleased the advertisers yet, so they're continuing to give them extra time to advertise. That's what they've been doing since Inuyasha's OP was first removed.

2) Adult Swim Action's shows do not get enough adult viewers to interest advertisers, which means less money for CN, thus the need to have more advertising to make up for it.

Gee Matt would you happen to have less of a life then I? Nah that couldn't be. Are you cute...? Or ah...spoken for?

... Not that it matters since I'm to lazy a gal to bother with relationships. :)

Seriously though you need to relax. You're always pointing out the obvious to those in the know or answering questions that weren't even asked.

At least you're persistant and hard working and seemingly forceful... Nice to see that in a man. :)

An interstitial is a "time filler" thing right? Well, they aired the Watering Hole thing after Bebop, however Bebop kept it's opening...so bleh...meh...feh...or all of the above...

The 1:30 slot doesn't seem to matter to CN, but the other three timeslots are still rather critical.

He's just a generic samurai. I guess the idea is that they can keep using him, even if different shows enter/leave ASA.
